The load bearing soil strata consists of silt with an SPT value of = 16

From the above emperical correlation between SPT N - value and angle of internal
friction it can be found that the angle of internal friction of the soil under consideration
is = 31.8 degrees
The cohesion value, C is typically assumed 25 kN/sqm for silt.
