Teaching is more than planning, instructional strategies, and teaching skills. It is also
about integrating professional dispositions. Professional dispositions are values and ethics a
teacher possess and displays through their actions in the classroom. Teachers who possess these
professional dispositions are able to be a role model and great example to the profession.

educator, I set high expectations for my students because I believe that all students are capable of
learning given the right instruction. I am sure to set realistic expectations and communicate with
my students. I treat all my students with fairness. I promote equity in my classroom amongst my

same opportunities. I give my students a warm and comfortable environment, and we work as
