Statement of purpose:

Master of Applied Statistic

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

Taking to the above quotation as a crux of my life I am going to pen down my statement of
purpose for my further study of ‘master of data analytics’ from Queensland University of
Technology, Australia.

Allow me to introduce myself as Poonamben Krunalkumar Patel. I am married girl . By birth I am

the citizen of India. Presently dwelling at, Vallabhnagar, Raniyapura, Mansa, Gandhinagar,
382845, Gujarat – India. My national ID number is S4417661 which is also my passport number. I
married with Krunalkumar Dashrathbhai Patel on 20 th December 2017. He complete his B.com
and MBA in 2013 and 2015 respectively. The main subject in MBA was Marketing.

In below paragraph, I am going to pen down some of the facts about me and my interest. I
request the concern institution or person to mean my genuine interest and be the part of
mysuccess. I also thanks the concern person to have patience in reading of my statement of
purpose.

Education :

I completed my 10th Class in 2011 with 74.76 percentile from Gujarat Secondary and Higher
Secondary Education Board. My interest in the field of Science I choose science stream and got
admission in Sardar Public School, Vijapur where I completed my 12 th in 2013with C2 grade. Now
I have to search for right institution for my further study and I took admission in Gujarat
University for the study of Bachelor of Science. I have completed my Bachelor with first division
in 2016. After my graduation I started my job as a primary teacher in Shri Arpan Vidhyalay from
12th Septmber to till date. My salary is 14000/- INR. After made my decision to study abroad I
have appeared for IELTS on 8 th September 2018 in which I scored overall 7.5 band. Listing : 8.0,
Reading : 7.5, Writing : 6.5, Speaking : 7.0

Work Profile :

After completion of my bachelor degree I came back to my home place and started my job with
Shri Arpan Vidhyalay, on the position of Primary Teacher and till date I am associated with the
same school . Here I have to teach students from 6 to 8 standard. During my job I appeared for
the interview at some places but somewhere I was rejected by smone schools. I found that
practical world is quite different than theoretical world that was the gape existed in me .
According to my observation they mostly entertained Master Degree holder and more so to the
international degree holder.

Study abroad:
The first and foremost reason of studying abroad is increasing competition in India. After my
graduation I started searching for universities who teaches master degree in mathematics and
then I got review of this colleges from my friends and colleagues who study here in that colleges
they told me that most of universities teach old techniques and they study what they study in
12th and bachelor degree which means I study what studied already so I decided to study abroad.
Students who are scoring high percentage are getting seat in good colleges in India. Other
students getting admission in private colleges have to pay a hefty amount of fees and the quality
of education is big concern in this colleges so why students spending so much money when they
have to compromise with education quality. Reservation policies are further deteriorating the
education system in India. Reservation system is further increasing the competition in the
general category. Indian education is very strict in terms of courses offered and the way these
are taught. Most of foreign universities are very flexible and I can choose from a range of
subjects. I can also choose dual major, minor and free elective courses. Apart from this better
jobs are another major reason behind the trend of studying abroad. Most of industries in India
prefer a candidate who can work well in their country and in abroad. Thus getting education
from a foreign university is an added advantage. Studying in abroad improves my personality,
communication skills, social contact and at the same time I can experience a different quality of
life.

Study further:

There are many positive reasons behind the decision to pursue further study including to pursue
my interest in a particular subject to improve my career prospects or change career direction.
Further education is important because of the number of opportunities that become available
with a college education. It is a fact that more and more people worldwide are getting a higher
education so to stand out in the marketplace I need to have a further education beyond high
school. One of the most important benefits of postgraduate study is my own personal
development. Through completing my qualification I will learn skills of discipline and time
management alongside academic analysis and writing skills. A post grad course can further my
skills and knowledge in my chosen field. Postgraduates may begin on a higher starting salary and
advance more quickly for some lines of work but for other careers work experience is valued
over postgraduate study. A postgraduate qualification is an excellent way to enhance my
prospects and take my career in an exciting new direction. This postgraduate degree will
strengthen my CV and certainly help me stand out amongst those who haven’t obtained a
postgraduate qualification. Some universities will offer work experience as part of postgraduate-
level programs which will provide me with valuable insights into working in that environment
and help me develop my professional network.

Australia is one of safest countries to live, study and work. Australia is better because the crime
rate is much lower that the United States. Australia has a much better quality of life. There are
few professional fields to pursue in New Zealand, so unless students are looking in those fields, it
is very difficult to find a good job on home soil. There is no properly organized public transport
system within New Zealand, so getting around the islands can be difficult without your own car.
Course work in Canada is not quite hectic so I don't want to study there.
