Families have different traditions at Easter. Some families go to

church on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Some spend time with their grandparents and cousins. Everyone
eats chocolate eggs!
Here are some comments from children at St Oswald’s about their Easter.

At Easter, my family go on holiday. This year, we’re going to Ibiza.

At Easter my family go to a restaurant for lunch. Then my parents hide Easter

eggs and we go and find them.
For Easter, we have big roast dinner – roast lamb, roast potatoes, carrots, peas
and gravy. For pudding we have a big chocolate cake!
At Easter, I get a letter from the Easter Bunny saying where he hid the eggs.
Then I go and find them!

The Easter bunny hides eggs in the

garden if the weather is nice and
children go and find them. It’s called
an Easter Egg Hunt. It’s great fun!

Another tradition is Easter Egg rolling. Families

roll eggs down a hill in the park in Preston.
