 Cleansing method
TermoRens is dosed into the system with an external pump.
In box and plate heat exchangers you calculate 30 to 40%
of the systems volume. For refrigeration & freezer systems
you calculate 10 to 20% of the systems volume. Mixing
ratio is calculated based on the amount of contamination &
its density.

You can cleans with temperatures down to 0 degrees C, but

Cleansing goes faster when heated to about 40-60 degrees.
When liquid is added to the system its circulated using the
systems own pump.
 Cleansing method
Time required depends on how much contamination in the
system and its density.
Normally, most facilities reinstates full capacity after only
one day.

When cleansing individual components the cleansing

process takes often only a few hours.

Contamination like lime, corrosion etc. are converted into

liquid state & flushed out of the system after cleansing.

The test is preformed with a normal mixture during cleaning with 25% Termorens & 75%
water.

1. Copper became light in colour, but did not loos any weight.
2. Carbon steel pipe did not show any changes.
3. Stainless steel 304 did not show any changes.
4. Stainless steel 316 did not show any changes.
5. Galvanized steel pipe changed color to black due to changes in the galvanizing and
was the material with greatest weight loss due to dissolving of zinc.
6. Aluminum sheet changed color to bluish but did not loose any weight.

Test of various rubber gaskets and rubber.

Rubber gasket in acid normally becomes gum consistency after a few hours.
None of the gaskets or rubber changes its material quality during the test period.

In the Termorens bath there was placed a tin soldered T-pipe.

The bath had no effect on the pipe.
The pipe did not show any changes.

In the Termorens bath there was placed HAMPET fitting, DUKTIL cast iron T-bend, together
with black steel fittings, galvanized pipe fittings & bras fittings.
None of the fittings show any changes.

From my point of view Termorens will not have any impact on the tested items during a
cleaning process for 24 to 48 hours.
This test was carried out over an 11 months period with individual tests every month.
