4. Delivery challan and Invoice number should not be handwritten. Kindly confirm the
same at the time of your purchase also.
5. Delivery challan is compulsory for the Job work units sending goods to other places(
incl other job work units) within state also.
6. E way bill is compulsory with Invoice for any sales made within the state or outside
the state and jobwork in other states.
7. Invoice has to be raised for Goods sent for Job work within 30 days.
8. GST tax invoice to be raised immediately at the time of sale itself.
9. HSN/SCN has to be mentioned in GST invoice, Delivery challan and E way bill.
10. Export unit can sell sample goods under LUT method instead of IGST method, if
there is no Shipping bill for that particular sale. Kindly keep the Sample invoices and
Courier receipt for future reference.
11. Export unit have to track their ITC through their accountants while sending goods
through IGST method. If the ITC value is less than the IGST value of export sale
value, then kindly raise LUT invoice instead of IGST invoice to avoid IGST payment.
12. E way bill is compulsory for Export Sales.
13. For Local sales, E way bill is compulsory for the sales value (including GST) beyond
Rs.100000/-.
14. For Interstate sales, E way bill is compulsory for the sales value (including GST)
beyond Rs.50000/-
15. LUT to be applied by the Exporters every year.
16. Delivery challan should contain the total value of goods, GST Rate and GST value.

Dear Sir,
This is in reference to our earlier communications no. APH/AIOCD/278 and APH/AIOCD/303 dated 12th
November 2018 and 3rd January 2019 respectively, reg.GST Circular No. 72/46/2018 -GST dated 26.10.2018.
In this context, all pharma companies have confirmed by issuing circular to their stockiest that the L/B/E,
return goods settlement shall be made by following option B as mentioned in above referred GST circular.
Kindly note, that allL/B/E settlement and Sales Return settlement to the wholesalers by your company will
be done in the following manner so there will be no loss to the trade.
1. Stockists shall continue to send L/B/E by Delivery Challan only.(Copy Enclosed)
2. Company shall issue financial credit notes on Purchase Price (PTS) plus Tax charged.
3. Tax component shall be added on PTS as applicable, i.e. % of VAT if sale made in vat regime or %
of GST if sale made in GST regime.
4. In L/B/E Claims under GST circular No.72 Company shall not upload credit note on General GST
portal.
5. For regular Salable returns Tax credit note shall be raised by company as per GST Section 34 (2), i.e.
returns within specified period.
So, you are requested to process all credit notes as clarified and as per circular given by Industry to the
trade for the smooth settlement of L/B/E Claims under GST circular No.72.Also issue credit note for the
difference if any for previous credit notes.

This is in reference to our earlier communications no. APS/AIOCD/376 dt. 29th March 2019, we would like
to inform you that 5 more companies has issued circular for settlement of L/B/E as per GST Circular No. 72/
46/2018 dt. 26.10.2018.
Companies will settle all claims of L/B/E as per option B. All are requested to follow the process (refer
AIOCD letter No. APS/AIOCDE/361/2019 dated March 7, 2019) for the smooth settlement of your claims.
