These numbers show that even in a science text in which the overall representation of people is

not very common, there is still a high percentage of white representation over any other

ethnicity. The text only focuses on specific individuals in certain sections where they discuss a

person in science. Again, for this content there was still a higher percentage of white individuals.

Although those did not have as large of a percentage gap as the general representation there were

fewer overall numbers of these representations. This shows that more supplemental materials

need to be included to ensure that cultural diversity is reflected within the curriculum.
