Good Morning All,

This week, I was posted in ANC Ward. I observed one change in ward that is
“Bed Side” rounds which is very helpful to mothers. Also, inductions are so useful
and IOL mothers gave births normally.

Last week, I was posted in L.R. Last Saturday I handed over a mother who is
fully dilated and completely at low risk. Also we motivated the mother for NVB.
After completion of my shift, I handed over the mother to ward-sister. I was
completely shocked to know that all of a sudden, the mother was posted to LSCS.
When mother questioned why she was being shifted to LSCS, though the
midwifery Madam have confirmed that she can give NVB, ward-sisters are using
bad words to the mother and threatening emotionally by if she is not willing to
shift to LSCS, then we (ward-sisters) can’t give hope for mother and baby safety as
confirmed by mother attendees. Mother cried a lot if midwifery is present, NVB
could have happened. Even mother has confirmed that she is about to get motion
feel sensation, which they never listened.

Mother clearly stated that, when she was shifted to O.T, she felt that hand
was inserted and pushed up.

When I listened to this I felt very sad, as we have educated mother from
morning to evening 4’o clock by doing few exercises and sent her to NVB. They
have silently shifted her to LSCS. I was in deep regret and guilty that I handed over
mother to them.

When Mother attendees have asked to me why ward-sisters are talking

without respect about midwifery people, I had no words. When mother was able
to withstand pain from morning, and delivery was about to happen in 15 minutes,
they shifted to LSCS that too threatening emotionally. Please look into this.
