First Fortnight Report of Internship

The internship started from 22nd of Feb, 2019. On the very same day allotment of company guide
was done who introduced me to other associates. Further I was welcomed by a small introduction
to the mission and vision of the company which revolved around 5 core principles used to guide
the policy making of the company. The first week of the internship had a lot of learning and
activities in the filled of human resource department and particularly related to the company and
jargons.

My roles and responsibilities for the first week had background verification, drafting and
dispatch of offer letter according to their prescribed format. I was explained the salary structure
of the company which is slightly different from its contemporary’s .E.g. Salesperson gets their
package on quarterly basis while other departments get it on annual basis. I was also explained
that they hire on 90% of the range & signature panel person for hiring.

Key Highlights:
 After working there for a week, I understood that the work culture is quite democratic in
MARS WREIGLEY CONFECTIONERY INDIA.

 Work – life balance in the company is appreciable. Employees are generally satisfied and
self motivated.

 HR department is called P&O (people and organization department) and the employees
are referred as associates.
