This study attempted to gather information on the evaluative perception and competencies of
secondary school teachers on the utilization of educational media for classroom instruction. Specifically
it aimed to determine:

1. The educational materials and equipment used by the teachers on the following
categories.
1.1 Electronic media hardware and software
1.2 Graphics and low-cost media
1.3 Print media
2. The competencies that the classroom teachers have in the use of educational media in
terms of:
2.1 Selecting media for instructional purposes.
2.2 Using educational media to carry out specific instructional purposes.
2.3 Introducing media into the mainstream of the lesson procedure.
2.4 Producing instructional media.
