Project Title Time Ultimatum

Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)

Throughout the first 7 units I have learnt how to create animations, create games
and how to edit with Tv and Film. From these units I have now improved my
skills on these areas. This is because I had very minimal experience in these
subject areas. This will benefit me, as I want to progress on into the digital
industry. I will be able to progress on stronger as I have improved my editing
skills which will help me develop these skills when becoming a photographer.
Because of these units I have a deeper understanding in the media industry.
Overall, these will help me towards the final project, as I am going down the
Graphics route and will have to create different designs.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)
My aims and concepts toward this final project and going down the graphics
route is to create many designs based on the theme of a bomb going off. My
designs will consist of showing the end of time and showing the mass
destruction caused by a bomb. For my research I have searched for different
images and scenes that show a bomb being defused. The resources I will need
to complete this idea would be, the use of photoshop or any photo editing
software. I will also need the use of the internet so that I can gather up the
images that I would like to use throughout each of the designs. The use of this
resources will help me have a deeper understanding in to what I want my final
designs to look like. I will also gather up more images in order to help me with
my pre-production work, when creating mind maps and mood boards. I will
complete my pre-production by next week, as I need stronger and more detailed
research into the route I’m taking and the designs I want to make.
After I have completed my pre-production, I will then go on to creating my
designs, such as, posters, billboards and then create different creative ideas for
logos and texts.

Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx 50 words)

I will reflect and evaluate my work by going through all of my ideas and designs
and set myself personal targets and things that I can improve to make my work
more intriguing and eye-catching to my audience. I will then show this by using
a word document that I can keep on re-visiting which will help me improve my
own work. When working with others they help me gain a deeper understanding
into my work and give me inspiration on creating my own design. However, I do
get distracted sometimes but I will minimise that by paying more attention to my
work and trying to block out any disruptions.
Proposed Research Sources and Bibliography

For my project the research sources I will use are Google, magazines, YouTube,
TV programmes. I have used google to help gather research for my project. I
used this by collecting images from the internet and creating a mood board to
show my ideas. I also created a mind map to show my different ideas when
going down the graphics route in this final project, Time Ultimatum.
