Last but not least I would like to thank my parents, who taught me the value
of hard work by their own example. They rendered me enormous support
during the whole tenure.
THANK YOU
Abstract
In this project, we have tried to cover problems faced by almost all people. They
face problems like the people wandering for finding the medicine available in
which medical store, finding specialist doctor and their location. Features of the
product were determined considering the various designing aspects. This product
has a lot of scope in future applications.its implementation will be extremely
beneficial to the all people.

Our guide is not only a great teacher/professor with deep vision but also and most
importantly a kind person. We sincerely thank for their exemplary guidance and
encouragement. Their trust and support inspired us in the most important moments of
making right decisions and we are glad to work with them.
Design thinking is one of the most crucial and important aspect of finding viable solutions to
the problems encountered in the society. It consumes the major part of the time as it includes
all the factors to be considered in finding the solution.
1
1.1 Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineering, also called back engineering, is the processes of extracting
knowledge or design information from anything man-made and re-producing it or re-
producing anything based on the extracted information. The process often involves
disassembling something (a mechanical device, electronic component, computer
program, or biological, chemical, or organic matter) and analyzing its components and
workings in detail.

2. Canvases
AEIOU Canvas includes activities, environment, interaction, objects and users. During our
observations, we enlisted the above mentioned things in our logbook and based on that
AEIOU canvas is developed. Activities include the surrounding activities that occurred during
the observation. Environment includes the type of environment at observation place.
Interaction includes the surrounding interaction at workplace. Object includes the list of object
observed at workplace. Users include people whom we met during our observation phase.

2.2 Mind Map
Mind mapping is a great way to brainstorm, make a plan, or turn ideas into the steps needed to
make it real. It is a technique of visual representation to show relationship between various ideas,
concepts or other information. It helps project planning, collecting and organizing data,
brainstorming and presentation. It helps to solve problem, find resources.
Mind map is one type of E- R diagram. Our domain is divided into subparts like Hospital, Patients,
Medical store, Doctors etc. and in this we’ve included all kinds of activities going on there.
4
2.3 Empathy Mapping Canvas
Empathy is the centrepiece of a human-centred design process. The Empathize mode is the work
you do to understand people, within the context of our design challenge. It is our effort
to understand the way they do things and why, their physical and emotional needs, how they
think about world, and what is meaningful to them. It includes users, stakeholders, activities
and happy/sad stories.
5
2.4 Ideation Canvas
Ideate is the mode of the design process in which you concentrate on idea generation. Mentally it
represents a process of “going wide” in terms of concepts and outcomes. Ideation
provides both the fuel and also the source material for building prototypes and getting
innovative solutions into the hands of us. Ideation canvas includes People-who are going to use
the application, activities, situation/context/location, and props /tools/equipment’s.
6
2.5 Product Development Canvas
Product Development Canvas (PDC) involves the basic concept of our project/application.
We have mentioned how our product will be helpful to the people and what are the benefits
of this product. PDC includes purpose, people, components, product features, product
functions, product experience, customer revalidation and reject/redesign/retain.

Title: Intelligent Voice Assistant Using Android Platform
Authors: Sutar Shekhar S, Pophali Sameer S, Kamad Neha S, Deokate Laxman J from
Information Technology Department, Sinhagad Academy Of Engineering, Pune-India
The software development on Smartphone is very promising. The common way of communication
used by people in daily life is through the speech. If the mobile phone can listen to the user for the
request or handle the daily affairs, then give the right response, it will be much easier for users to
communicate with their phone, and the mobile phone will be much more “Smart” as a human
assistant.
This project is focusing on the Android development over the voice control (recognition, generate
and analyze corresponding commands, intelligent responses automatically), Google products and
relevant APIs (Google weather, Google search and etc.), Wikipedia API and mobile device
references ranging from Speech-To-Text, Text-To-Speech technology, camera, messaging and
other services and technology that are needed in daily life. Physically disable person can also use
this Application. Voice SMS is an application developed in this work that allows a user to record
and convert spoken messages into SMS text message. Speech recognition for Voice uses a
technique based on hidden Markov models (HMM - Hidden Markov Model). It is currently the
most successful and most flexible approach to speech recognition.

This article is an overview of a current research based on some of the ideas of positioning and
navigation using GPS (Global Positioning System) where explored, GPS is a satellite-based
navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department
of Defense. This paper provides the use of a handheld GPS receiver in the areas of precise
positioning, mapping locations, navigating across the mapped locations very easily. The purpose
of this paper is to showcase the experiences that incurred in designing a positioning and navigation
system (with the aid of a 12 parallel channel handheld GPS), which can be used as a moving
compass, steering to any mapped destination, providing the information about near by places,
tourist attractions, petrol bunks etc. The Magellan 310 handheld GPS which is being used for
developing the proposed system allows users to connect to a personal computer through RS-232
Serial Interface and the protocol used by the device for communication is NMEA 0183, (National
Marine Electronics Association). It is an American national regulatory body, which, among other
things, sets standards pertaining to the interfacing of marine electronic devices. This NMEA 0183
Protocol transmits data to the connected PC every 1 second, this data has to be interpreted and
8
filtered accordingly to get the needed information from the GPS device. This paper provides a case
study in the process of designing such a system and its limitations in the era where through
distance measurements from a few more satellites, the receiver can determine the user's position
and display it on the unit's electronic map. It also portrays the implementation details and their
results obtained and along their pros and cons when compared with the other existing positioning
and navigation system designed for basic handheld GPS (without having advance features like
provision for electronic map etc. in the device), It also addresses some of the enhancements that
can be accomplished in the designed system. This paper is organized by providing a brief
introduction to GPS technology and then dealing with hardware description & NMEA Messages
along with a case study implementation detail of the system, its features and possible
enhancements in the system.

4.2 Prototype
In the prototype model we have design how our app will work for people Our prototype was
made on a tool named JUST IN MIND.We’ve created a simple application model which serves the purpose
of giving solution of our problem.
In this page tap on logo and you can go to the next page.
When the tap on sign up then open this page. In which user
fill up the detail.
when the tap on submit your data successfully submitted.
In page 2 tap on sign in then user enter in this page and add
the location.
11
In this page list of Doctors and Medical stores and The
option what you feel.in what you feel give the Suggestion.
List of different types of doctors and when tap on Any type of doctor
give the detail of doctor.
When the tap on forgot password in page 2 then user rest the
password.
13
e-wallet contain detail of user account and name and also check
the wallet balance.

5. Summary
From the Design Engineering II-A course, we learnt about how to use the concept of
reverse engineering to reach from a broader domain of the project to an actual area focusing
product.
We have designed one application which will be very useful for the almost all people when
they are suffering from disease.
Also the application uses modern day’s technologies like online medical treatment.
The application also provides some new features like What you feel, finding near medical
store.
We got the idea of how to do the reverse engineering of any available product and uses the
new concept to improve the performance and quality of the product.
With the help of our guide, we are pursuing to reach to complete perfections with the
project.
