There are many stars in the media that tend to maintain a good reputation but there are an equal
amount of stars that make parents shake their heads and hope their kids don’t idolize them.

For instance, celebrities are commonly associated with beauty and “perfect” bodies, and when
children see that, they want to look like them. It’s not uncommon that so many children developed
eating disorders while trying to attain a skinny body.

The influence of celebrities on Chilren Upbriging is a challenge add to the parents on how to deal
their children’s life in a proper way as mention in that verse, this world is only for an amusement.
 Nevertheless, there are many celebrities that tend to maintain a good reputation but there are
also numbers of them that make parents shake their heads and hope their kids do not idolize them. For
instance, celebrities are commonly associated with beauty and “perfect” bodies, and when children
see that, they want to look like them. It’s not uncommon that so many children developed eating
disorders while trying to attain a skinny body. According to a study conducted at the University of
Kansas, children spend more time watching TV than any other activities. In reality television shows,
celebrities are displayed in a negative manner, often shown doing drugs, partying, fighting, and
engaging in sexual activities. Children who are exposed to this believe, that is the proper way to act
and try do those activities by themselves.

In conclusion, celebrities cannot be apart of the children as the children’s’ life circulates
around the circumstances. Celebrities do influence the children either in positive or negative ways,
therefore, besides parents, whose job is to educate the children on choosing the right one to be
influence on? As an adults, ladies and gentlemen, let’s us think and ponder!

Remember, children, the young khalifah , are our responsibility ! I end my speech with a
verse from Surah Al- An Am.

And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion, the home of the Hereafter is best for those
who fear Allah.
