Dear Omar,
I am very happy to write you this letter to tell you about
the mealtimes in our country.
Unlike the British, the Algerian people have only three
meals a day.
First, they have breakfast when they get up usually at 7
O’clock.it made of milk, coffee, biscuits, jam and butter.
Next, they have lunch at around midday. This is the biggest
meal of the day. It’s made of rice or pasta, meat or chicken,
vegetables, a drink and a dessert.
Finally, they have dinner at around 8 O’clock. It’s often a
light meal.it made of soup, a salad and yoghurt.

Yours sincerely

The Mayor of the city 25, Ben Badis streets, Alger
14th, January 2017
Dear Sir,
I’m writing to complain about the living conditions in our city. Some
of them are due to the streets which are full of rubbish.
People can hardly breathe because of the bad smell of the rubbish
wish causes acid rain. As result, many health problems as allergies.
I would be grate full if you can add more dust bins in our city, to
increase the number of garbage men to clean the city, to create more
green spaces and why not to establish a calendar to the throw rubbish
and if you don’t, you’ll pay taxes.
I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully
Osmane Lotfi

One of the mammals that are in danger of extinction in the world,
today is the “elephant”.
It is a huge mammal; it has big ears and long trunk ivory tusks. It feed
on herbs and leaves. It lives in the jungles of Africa and Asia.
The main cause of its extinction is the hunters who killed them for
their ivory.
To protect this animal, we must put them in protecting parks, to set
strict laws to forbid its hunting and to cure them they are wounded.
If we do all these, the elephant will be saved.

Dear friend,

I am very happy to receive your letter and to help you in your project
with schools in other countries.
So, in Algeria and with the new reforms, boys and girls spend 5
years in the primary school.
After that, they take an exam which allows them to join the middle
school. They spend 4 years there. At the end of the 4th years, they
have the Brevet exam.
If they get the average, they’ll be able to join the secondary school.
Of course, they are two streams (literary stream and the scientific
stream). If pupils have a good result, their choice will be taken in
consideration. After spending three years in the high school, they
take the baccalaureate exam. If they get the average, they’ll register
at the university.
I hope this information will help you to get a good mark in your
project.
Yours,
Osmane Lotfi
