Abstract

This article shows the use of Comic as a tool to enhance creative writing in students in state school of
Colombia. The policies of MEN and writing activities lack of innovation, those activities are writings
sentences or filling the gaps. Teachers should bring catching activities like to read and to write comics.
Comics improve concentration, writing production, creativity and some skills to students; besides, comics
are attractive to children and teenagers and they have plenty of gender (anime, cartoon, action, etc.).
Thus, in order for comics to be effective, teacher must bring variety of comics to students to they to
select what gender they like the most and teacher.
