Internship - Leading to Employment

(From 10 June 2019 to 8 September 2019)

1. National Logistics Cell (NLC) is offering internship for fresh graduates,


undergraduates from renowned universities and diploma holders (recognized by
provincial technical education boards) who are passionate to grow and improve
their skills while working in a diversified environment. Selected candidates will be
offered Internship programmes against under mentioned disciplines at Rawalpindi,
Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Amangarh, Gilgit, Dina, Mandra, Khairpur Mirs
and various other setups of NLC:-

Graduates / Under - Civil Engineers, Human Resource, Finance, Tourism &


Graduates
Hospitality Management, IT / Computer Science (having
knowledge / expertise of Oracle ERP Suite / Web
Development / Java / Image Processing / Search Engine
Optimization/Graphic Designing), Marketing / Supply
Chain Management (having knowledge of digital
marketing). Arts / Management / Social Sciences or any
discipline (having knowledge / expertise of Content Writing
& Blogging)

Diploma Holders - IT / Computer Science, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Auto


& Diesel, Civil Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Draftsman
(Civil), AutoCAD, Heavy Machinery.

2. Terms & Conditions


a. Eligibility.
(1). Fresh Graduates (Minimum CGPA 3) from renowned institutes,
who have completed graduation in last three years.
(2). Undergraduates (Minimum GPA 3) who have completed
minimum 5 semesters in relevant discipline may apply.
(3). Diploma Holders (recognized by provincial technical educational
boards) with minimum 70% marks.
b. Stipend. Merit based stipend will be offered to all interns. Payment
of Stipend shall strictly be subject to 95 % minimum attendance.

c. Accommodation, Transport & Messing. Internees will be provided


accommodation and transport for pick & drop where feasible only. The
expense of messing if provided shall be borne by the interns.

d. Evaluation of Interns. After completion of Internship, interns will


go through a short test / interview/ presentations with departmental
heads / immediate supervisors.

e. Issuance of Internship Certificate. Internship Certificate will be


issued only to those interns who will complete their internship as per
the entire satisfaction of their supervisor, departmental head and
after submission of internship report.

3. Procedure for Selection of Interns for Employment


a. Only graduates and diploma holders will be considered for
employment.
b. All recommended interns will have to undergo test / interview
before employment.
c. Based on the performance report and availability of positions,
individuals will be offered job commensurate to qualification across
the country.
