ABSTRAK
Pendahuluan
Fraktur leher femur adalah kasus fraktur paling sering terjadi pada pasien di
atas 50 tahun dan merupakan sepuluh peringkat teratas didunia dalam kasus disabilitas
yang diderita oleh manula. Sebagian besar pasien adalah wanita berusia diatas tujuh
puluh tahun. Hal ini dikaitkan dengan proses osteoporosis yang di alami oleh
manusia. Kejadian fraktur leher femur bisa terjadi pada kejadian terjatuh yang sangat
sederhana pada pasien manula seperti terpleset di kamar mandi atau terjatuh karena
tersandung saat berjalan.

Metode
Penelitian dilakukan secara retrospektif dalam kurun waktu Januari 2014
sampai Desember 2016 dengan jumlah pasien 32 orang yang menjalani rawat inap.
Data diolah secara deskriptif yang meliputi jenis kelamin, umur, penyebab terjadinya
trauma, lokasi fraktur dan penatalaksanaan.

Hasil
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pasien berjenis kelamin wanita lebih
dominan yaitu sebanyak 24 kasus (75%). Bila menurut usia, persentase terbesar ialah
pada kelompok usia 51-70 tahun sebanyak 20 kasus (67%). Penyebab trauma paling
sering disebabkan karena terjatuh atau terpeleset sebanyak 26 orang (82%). Bila
dilihat dari lokasi fraktur terbanyak adalah di lokasi transcervical neck femur
sebanyak 17 kasus (53%) dan penatalaksanaan pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD
Waled dengan fraktur leher femur terbanyak adalah dengan dilakukan
hemiarthoplasty, 17 orang (54%).

Kesimpulan
Kejadian fraktur leher femur banyak di alami oleh wanita yang berusia diatas
51 tahun hal ini berkaitan dengan terjadinya osteoporosis pada usia lanjut. Mekanisme
trauma yang terjadi biasanya karena terpleset atau tersandung dengan panggul yang
terpuntir ke arah eksorotasi. Penanganan yang paling sering untuk fraktur leher femur
adalah hip replacement pada pasien diatas 60 tahun untuk menghindari berbagai
komplikasi dan mengurangi nyeri yang bersifat kronik.

ABSTRACT
Introduction
Hip fractures rank in the top ten of all impairments worldwide in terms of loss
in disability-adjusted years for people above 50 years old. The vast majority of
patients are woman in the seventh decades or higher. This case associated with
osteoporosis process that occured in human. The incident of hip fractures in elderly
can be result from a very simple fall like sliping in the bathroom or stumble while
walking.

Method
Research is done retrospectively in range of time from January 2014 until
December 2016 with number of patients 32 who is hospitalized. Data being process
descriptively covering gender, age, trauma cause, fracture site and treatment.

Result
Result of research indicates that number of woman patients is more
dominantly that is 24 cases (75 %). According to age number, the biggest percentage
is at group of age 51-70 years which is 20 cases (67%). Trauma cause very often is by
falling or slipping which is 26 cases ( 82%). According to the fracture site , the most
often site of fracture are in transcervical neck femur which is 17 case (53%) and most
treatment patient that hospitalized in RSUD Waled with neck femur fracture by
hemiarthoplasty was 17 patients (54%).

Conclusion
The majority of patients with femoral neck fracture are woman in above 51
years old, this associated with age related osteoporosis. The machanism of trauma
usually results from a simple fall like slipping or stumbling with twisting the hip into
external rotation. The most common treatment in patien with age above 60 years is
hip replacement the goal is to avoid other complication and chronic pain relieving.
