ABSTRACT
Introduction :
Lumbar Degenerative Spondylolisthesis is the major cause of low
back pain, radiculopathy, and neurogenic claudication. The incidence
rate for the general population ranged from 5% to 7%.
Objective : This study aimed to examine the relationship between pain grading
scale, meyerding grading system, and MRI finding on lumbar degenerative
Spondylolisthesis.
Methods : This was analytic observational study with cross sectional method.
Patient whom diagnosed spondylolisthesis based on the reference of the polyclinic.
Spondylolisthesis was measured based on meyerding grading system criteria from
the lumbosacral radiograph of the lateral position, Spinal canal stenosis on MRI
finding and the pain grading scale (clinis). Data were obtained through medical
record retrospectively.
Result : The result of the research reveals that on the first degree spondylolisthesis,
the pain degree is mild. On the second degree spondylolisthesis, the pain degree is
moderate. On the third degree spondylolisthesis, the pain degrees are moderate and
severe. On the fourth degree spondylolisthesis, the pain degree is mostly severe.
