Minor Orders Study Course

for
The Liberal Catholic Church Grail Community

Each of the Minor Orders of the Church corresponds to an aspect within the spiritual constitution of
a person. As the candidate passes through each Minor Order the paper they are given assists them to
focus more fully on the deeper meanings and how to apply lessons learnt in a practical manner both
spiritually and also morally and ethically. Recommended reading is provided. Full tutor support is
given with feedback on the students response.

1. The Cleric:

The Cleric Minor Order is intended to aid the recipient's soul or higher aspect to exert more control
over their physical body. This paper takes the Cleric through the historical, psychological, moral
and spiritual implications and symbolisms of this order.

2. The Doorkeeper:

As with each Minor Order the Doorkeeper aids the recipient's soul to exert more control over part of
their inner constitution, in the Order it is the Emotions. Each person struggles greatly with their
emotions but this Minor Order and its corresponding paper seeks to strengthen control over them.

3. Reader:

The Reader as the name implies is all about the mind and correct use of the mind, the Minor Order
seeks to strengthen control over the mind and the study paper provides theory and practical
instruction to assist.

4. Exorcist:

The role of exorcism is now exclusively done by a priest or bishop and the Minor Order of Exorcist
is now aimed at developing, controlling and expanding the spiritual will of the recipient.

5. Acolyte:

The Minor Order of Acolyte is intended to aid in the development and focussing of the spiritual
intuition or sense of inner 'knowing'.
