Abstract:
The reducing of time in construction project be the main proposed to decrease the amount of cost in a
certain project especially in the high-rise building process. This project contains the simplest ways how
the time reduces by change a type of construction system. As a conventional method for high rise
building, the major machine being used in the project is tower crane. However, this machine gives the
highest rank of dangerous in the work site. This study aimed to make a new idea of how to reduce the
hazards and dangerous in high rise building construction. This methods give an easiest for the contractor
to give a safer workplace and decreases a footprint while using a tower crane. This construction may
start by constructing the roofing to be a permanent roof for the building and will be continued by the
floor of the building. Other than that, the collaboration with Industrial Building System or precast panel
of a certain item in the building be a main of this study propose to achieve government policies toward
industrial revolution 4.0.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
Lifting the construction system will be used for high rise construction. This may be allowed more safety
and reduce hazard during the work done. The efficiency will very good and integrated toward the
Industrial Building system and give minima of using time and reduce the cost of the construction
project.
The Lifting Construction for high rise building is a solution actually sees the roof of the buildings
constructed first, which is then raised by an integrated lifting system which allows for the creation of a
construction area. This area is surrounded by a protective wall that is attached to the roof. The structure
of the next floor is assembled at man’s height on the previous floor and is positioned using the adapted
roof and its hoisting system. All of the work is done ergonomically, safely and productively in order to
complete the floor subassembly prior to positioning it to its final height.

2.0 LITERATURE REVIEW

The construction sector is associated with various accidents and fatal injuries. These occupational
accidents are caused by numerous factors, such as lack of supervision; lack of adherence to safe work
technique; failure to wear personal protective equipment; and failure to comply with the safe use of
tools, vehicles, and machines. Using 2013–2016 secondary data from the Department of Occupational
Safety and Health and Social Security Organization, this study conducted a descriptive exploration
survey to identify common fatal occupational injuries associated with the Malaysian construction
sector, as well as their causes and accidental agents. Results indicated that construction, followed by
manufacturing, agriculture, forestry, logging, and fishery, are the riskiest job sectors in Malaysia. The
highest incidences of occupational casualties were reported in Sarawak, Johor, and Selangor. These
states accounted for approximately 13.33% to 18.18% of all cases of fatal occupational accidents. In
these states, the lack of safety and health regulations and poor execution of risk management increased
the risk of occupational accidents. Falls from heights accounted for 46.28% of fatal occupational
injuries. Furthermore, being crushed by objects, materials, or vehicles accounted for 9.09% to 17.36%
of fatal occupational injuries. Substandard work environment and transportation and lifting equipment,

such asscaffolds, are primary accidental agents. Results of this study could enhance the knowledge and
awareness of construction workers and management of job-related injuries to decrease the incidence of
fatal occupational accidents.

3.0 METHODOLOGY
This paper utilized qualitative analysis in collecting, processing and analysing the data collected.
Content analysis is selected to meet these purposes. Content analysis is a research tool to determine the
presence of certain keywords, concepts or set of texts in a document. Qualitative researchers aim to
gather an in-depth of concept and details on how this lifting construction system will help the way to
reduce hazard during construction work and give a simple’s construction concept for high rise building
without using a high-rise construction pieces of machinery likes tower crane. Beside that this study may
also explain how fast a lifting construction system that collaborates with an industrial building system
that gains a reducing of time using for certain project construction in high rise building. Along with
document review of existing data in the form of the line graph, article, and journal. An extensive desk
study was conducted to gather information on fundamental using lifting construction give safer and
simplest construction system based on high rise building. Other than that, this finding also gives the
analysis of dangerous that been occurs in construction high rise building that increases the amount of
death because of work at a construction area in Malaysia. The purpose of this investigation is to gain
insight on how this lifting construction system gives a faster way and simplest construction work for
high rise building that will give a safer workplace. The advantages also if the concept of this project
archive, the company or contractor may reduce amount of cost for a project that be a major problem for
all type of construction industry. Regarding this lifting construction, a system is to increase the amount
of using precast panel or industrial building system, especially in high rise building construction.

4.0 ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS

In 2018, Igidali Ashurbegov, a Head of Project Civil Engineer Company in Russia propose to develop
the technology of “construction and demolition of the high-rise buildings and facilities that including
skyscrapers without works at height, without tower cranes and work platforms”. Main elevating for
construction or depressing for demolition works are making at the first-floor level of a building or a
facility including skyscrapers. Under such a condition the need of using tower cranes working platforms
are eliminated, and special new technology hoisting mechanisms are used for elevation depression of
buildings and facilities. The time required for construction demolition of buildings and facilities
including skyscrapers with the using of new technology is halved compared with the traditional
technology. See the calculation attached.
(IGIDALI ASHURBEGOV, CIVIL ENGINEER, 2018)
In 2017, Upbrella Construction, inventor of a patented crane-less building system, has been named
winner of PWC Canada’s 2017 Vision to Reality Innovator of the Year Award in the Under $25-million
Disruptors category. The system uses telescopic elevator-style lifting actuators and a protective roof
enclosure to fully construct one floor at a time behind weatherproof barriers, providing a safer and more
protected working environment and virtually eliminating bad-weather delays on jobsites. Upbrella
Construction improves the quality, security and construction of high-rise construction with their crane-
less roof technology. Upbrella high-rise construction starts with the roof and doesn't need a tower crane.
The workers, the building and the neighbors are fully protected all the time allowing the finish and
delivery of the first floors much faster. (Upbrella president Joey Larouche, 2017)

5.0 CONCLUSION
This lifting construction system is the idea that may give the simplest ways of construction for high rise
building. This idea may give a good and safer workplace for the workers to avoid the hazard and bad
weather. Moreover, this system may start with the permanent root that is a shelter for the workers to
make an assembly of the precast item such as floor, wall, column, and beam. Lifting the construction
system been use avoid of using tower crane in a high-rise project as a conventional work. The main
advantages of this study give a reduced amount of delay about a certain project that may cause an
increase in cost. This system also may give a secure workplace that only not for workers but for
materials. After the roof had been installed, the cover will be attached to the building floor and it will
reduce the amount of falling object to the ground. Moreover, this idea can give more practice to make
construction at a small the site had been given.
