Synopsis:
The candidate should understand complete procedure involved in the maintenance
of ICF/RCF coaches of Indian Railway .The study involves in guiding through all
aspects of maintenance processes like Inspection, Lifting under Frame, Heavy
Corrosion Repair, Wheel, Trolley (Mainline/EMU), Progress Department,
Drawing, Rate Fixing and ISO cell.

Goals:
 Identify and understand various parts of coaches.
 Study maintenance procedure involved with various components such as
wheel, trolley, braking system, interiors of a coach, frame etc.
 Study various testing process involved regarding coaches for corrosion,
brake, wheel etc.
 Understand the coach design and analyze scope for future developments.
 Understand rate fixing criteria of Indian Railway.
 Study basic safety requirements involved during maintenance of ICR/RCF
coaches.

 Case study
 Classroom Study
