Technical Difficulty:

During the validation phase (Validation of the pH sensor), I faced technical difficulty on
measurements. To overcome this issue, I have referred my engineering textbooks as well as
related subjects to gain knowledge. Also, I have spent time on library and come up with a new
idea. Then, I surveyed the measurements and compared it to both commercial pH sensor (YSI
EcoSense PH100) and developed pH sensor (with an InLab 413 glass electrode of Mettler
Toledo). For better understanding, I used the below figure where the measurements along
with its internals of both sensors.

Measurements in an industrial environment

I conducted many trials in the large industrial plant. It had 30 tannery barrels which were
distributed over 15000 m2, they can produce over 5000-6000 pieces of leather per day. I
used sensor node to test the base station connected to a PC at a 30 meters distance. The
longest experimented I observed was of 108 hours, it notes the temperature measurements
with an equal interval of 2 minutes with a packet loss rate of 13%.
From the results, I ensured that the temperature measurements recorded over 42
hours. The first graph I used records the end of the liming process. Then I made the barrel to
cool down at ambient temperature for 20 hours approximately. The last graph I recorded
shows the ice process to lower the temperature. The outputs were calculated by the expert
operators.

Finally, I completed the project with successful results. I learned to handle the project at
various conditions. I implemented my knowledge and exhibited my theoretical knowledge
into practical. I resolved technical difficulties and helped to my team members. I always
coordinated with my teammates and worked hard.

Summary
CE 1.16

The project was successfully completed. During this project, I groomed my soft skills,
increased technical knowledge and managed time properly. I utilized my engineering
knowledge in this project. Also, I solved issues. I was appreciated by project guide and team
members. I started to work on future projects and learned to handle the challenges using
innovative skills.
