Dear all,

RIO TINTO is one of the main actors in the Mining and Industrial business around the world. The
challenges that we find there lead me to write this letter today.

Indeed, after having brilliantly completed my Petroleum Engineering courses from the Oil and Gas
Institute of Monastir (in Tunisia) since 2016 (Drilling Engineer), I did a satisfactory internship within
an Oil and Gas trading company. My most recent position was Head of trading and operations for an
import/export oil and gas trading company in Mali.

It is with much enthusiasm that I am sending to you my application for this Superintendent plant operations
position because first of all I want it, then I believe be able to do it by having the background for and
finally because I will learn more by working with a Rio Tinto Team and will have a better life style.
