MONSTERS & MORE! 
 
Through the generosity of the Archie B. and Bertha H. Walker Foundation for Arts Education, and 
our partnership with ARTISTRY Bloomington Center for the Arts, we will be offering a ​FREE art 
experience​,​ just for students in Kids’ SAFARI! 
 
This will be the 5th year that we have been able to offer this amazing experience for Kids’ SAFARI 
students! Each year, we alternate which grade levels the class will be geared towards.   
This year, the class will be offered to our ​3rd through 5th grade students! 
 

DRAGONS, TROLLS, MONSTERS & MORE!  

Come and learn how to create mythical winged dragons, quirky and 
colorful trolls, and other make-believe creatures in this fun 
mixed-media class. We will use our imaginations to create our 
creatures, their homes and habitats - all using paper, paint, markers, 
cardboard, wire, Model Magic and more! 
 

WHEN: ​Thursdays, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. 

January 31, February 7, 14, 21 & 28 
 

WHO: ​3rd, 4th & 5th grade students that are registered to attend Kids’ SAFARI on Thursday 
afternoons ​(if your child is not registered to attend Kids’ SAFARI on Thursday afternoons, you are welcome to request 
drop-in care for the class dates!)​. 
 
REGISTRATION: ​FREE! Participation is limited to the first 16 registrations received.
