The Interview

(1st phase)
The objective of the project is making a dialogue about “a job interview”. This project
is divided in three phases.

In this First Phase (Organization) you have to follow these steps:

Step 1: Make a group of 3 members- in the link “Creating My Group” select one group
by clicking on the group, then click on the button “Save my option” to finish the process.

Note: If you don’t select one group according to the dates required in the course
agenda, the teacher will assign you a group at random.

Step 2: Attend the first video conference (week 3 - "Course Agenda") scheduled by the
tutor through collaborate to understand the criteria assigned for this project.

Step 3: Participate in the Group Forum “Getting to know you”. In this forum every
group member answers the questions in English using complete sentences.

1. What is your name?


2. What do you study? (your major)
3. What is your job? What do you do there (duties)?
4. What do you like about your job? Why?
5. How is your relationship with your coworkers? Why?

Note: Use the forum as a means of interaction and constant communication with your
classmates. Use the forum during the entire project in English or Spanish as a support and
evidence of teamwork. This is the only evidence the tutor is going to take into account to
evaluate the interaction between participants.
Step 4: Group product - Video. In group, make a video introducing yourself and
answering at least three of the questions given in the group forum “Getting to know you”.
It is important that every member of the group appear in the video.

Step 5: Upload your group video on YouTube. Then paste the URL of your video on the
Word file "Getting to know you" that you find on our platform. Do not forget to include your
personal data and group name on the file.

Step 6: Upload the Word file “Getting to know you” to the link “Send my activity (Phase
1)”, only the group leader sends the file.

Note: In case of questions about the assignment, do not forget to contact your virtual instructor/tutor
immediately.

IMPORTANT:

The tutor will not receive any work individually and you will not be evaluated if you do not
participate in the forum; you are part of a team and your group must upload only one final
product for this phase.
EVALUATION CRITERIA

This activity will be evaluated through the criteria showed in the following rubric. The
lowest score to approve the activity is 60 points and the highest 100 points.
