Questions on eating and drinking

The question was about ritual handwashing and
body washing before the meal. This was not about
unclean and harmful food, or dirty hand. See Mark
7:1-5; Matt 15:17-20.
2.) Rise, Peter, kill and eat! Acts 10:9-16
This is about considering people common or
unclean, and refusing to preach the Gospel to
them. See v. 28 for the explanation.
3.) 1 Tim 4:1-5
The text has no problem. This is about those who
forbid good and permitted foods. (Meat means
food in old English)
4.) The weak and the strong brother. Rom 14:1-3
This has to do with personal opinions about
observing certain days, and about eating meat
sacrificed to idols, that the strong said they could
eat (vv. 11-23). See it explained in 1 Cor 8:1-13.(
Verse 10 of 1 Cor 8 explains who is the weak). 1 Cor
10 :12-19; 20-32. These were about issues of social
cases, idol worship, and the meat sold in the
market after being sacrificed.
5.) Let no one judge you. Col 2:16, 17
This is about feasts, holidays, Sabbath days, feeding
and drinking rules related to the ceremonial law
and the sacrificial system. They were fulfilled in
Jesus at the cross. These were fasting days, drinks
and meat offerings, Passover eating rules,
purification-cleansing rules to eat and drink, etc.)

6.) About drink:
See the paper on Bible and Wine. The Bible speaks
of two kinds of wine, the new or soft wine, which is
good, and the strong or mixed wine (old wine),
which is fermented and bad. Sometimes, they are
just called wine. So check the context.

To Drink or Not To Drink ?

There are two kinds of wine in the Bible. The old and the new wine. Luke 5:37-39.

Wine is the juice of vine fruits. The grapes of vine are squeezed and the juice obtained is the wine. The new
wine is soft and unfermented. It is not harmful. The old wine is fermented and alcoholic. It is harmful.
Sometimes, the Bible just calls it wine, and it is from the context that one can know the type of wine in
question.

Some observations, points and questions

1.) From Prov 31:4, 5 and Lev 10: 9-11, the kings and the priests could incurre some hazards if they drank
alcohol:
- Death if they entered the temple
- Confusion of the holy and the unholy
- Confusion of the clean and unclean
- Inability to teach or judge properly.
As Christians, we are all kings and priests (Rev 1:8), and the same law applies to us.

2.) Prov 31:6, 7. Give wine to him that perishes.

This refers to the practice of giving wine to criminals during their execution. Cf Mark 15:23 where Jesus
refused to take it.

3.) Deut 14:26 asks to buy wine and strong drinks.

The word translated strong drinks here is shekar. It is from shekar that we have the word sugar, or sucre. It
meant sweet drinks, or drinks made of dates or honey. The proper translation should be wine and sweet
drinks.

4.) 1 Cor 11:21 One is hungry while the other is drunk. Was alcohol used in communion?
The word drunk actually ought to be translated by full. One is hungry while the other is full. Besides, there
was a lot of disorder in the church of Corinth. This cannot justify the use of alcohol for communion.

5.) 1 Tim 3:8. Not given to much wine.

This simply means not given to drunkenness, or not a drunkard. This does not encourage moderate use of
alcohol. (the Bible asks to be sober, that is, total abstinence 1 Tim3:2, 3, 11; Eph 5:18; 1 Pet 5:8).
 The Two Laws Contrasted
The Bible mentions and contrasts two laws, and they should not be confused. They differ considerably in
nature, in purpose and in scope. These are the moral law, or Ten Commandments, and the ceremonial law,
or law of the rites and sacrifices. They are often referred to respectively as the law of God and the law of
Moses. Dan 9:10, 11.

Note on the ceremonial law

The ceremonial law had regulations on food, meat, drink and ceremonies related to the various feasts,
holidays, and sacrifices. Heb 9: 9, 10. This is different from the clean/unclean food law. The ceremonial law
also had Sabbath days of feasts different from the seventh-day Sabbath of the Ten Commandments. (See
Numb 28; 29; Lev 23; 16; 4; etc.) All these ended at the cross Heb 9:9, 10; Col : 16, 17.

Note: Isa 24:5. God has only one Covenant, the eternal covenant that was concluded with Adam after the
sin, then it was renewed with the patriarchs Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, the people of Israel, and was finally
renewed at Jesus death. The blood of Jesus is the actual seal of God’s Covenant.
 The Origin of Satanic Versions of the Bible
The plan of Satan after the flood was to rebuild his kingdom over men through lies and
deceptions. The Babylonians or Chaldeans became the holders of Satan worship also called
the Ancient Mysteries. From Babylon, this spread to all the world at the Babel Tower
dispersion. After the fall of Babylon, the Gnostics, based in Rome, took over in the first
century after Jesus Christ. The Gnostics created the Roman Catholic Church in order to better
deceive and persecute true Christians, while inside, they were Lucifer worshipers. They
promoted a counterfeit Christianity based on Sunday worship, this against the will of the
Creator Ezech 20:20. They also opened Islam, to further destroy faith in Jesus and Sabbath
keeping churches of Africa and Asia.
The Gnostics later took the names of Knight Templars, Rosicruscians, and then Jesuits.
The Jesuits are now organized in three branches: the Jesuits Order, the Free Masons, and the
Banking Illuminati. The Jesuits’ General or Black Pope controls them all. Through the agency of
so-called church fathers such as Origen in the second and third centuries A.D., the Gnostics
tampered with the Scriptures, using their monks to produce flawed Greek manuscripts, so as
to induce disbelief in Christ and throw disrepute on the Bible. This was the basis of the Roman
Catholic and the Jesuits’ Bibles.
True Christians such as the Waldenses, and even the Protestants, never used such false
Bibles. At the Council of Trent in the 16th century, the Jesuits devised a plan to overthrow the
Protestant Bible. They succeeded in the 19th century, when the new version was released by
the University of Oxford: the Revised Version. Then followed the American Standard Version,
the Revised Standard Version, the New International Version, the Good News Bible, the
French Louis Segond Bible, and even the Jehovah Witnesses’ New World Translation, which all
agree with the Roman Catholic and the Jesuits’ Bibles such as the Douay Bible, the Jerusalem
Bible, etc. And they disagree with faithful Bibles, such as the King James Version, the King
James 2000, the King James easy reading, the German Luther Bible, the French Calvin Bible,
David Martin Bible, or the Olivetan Bible.
Let us compare some passages : (this is just a sample of over 5,000 changes performed in the Word of God. )

The counterfeit Holy Ghost

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to the church to perform the last preaching to the world before the end. Jesus
will soon come back, and He had promised the latter rain of the Holy Ghost to support His church Joel 2:23, 28-32.

One might ask the question about the situation in 1 Cor 14. The text of 1 Cor 14 speaks of those who having received
the genuine gift of tongues, used it in the church to preach, pray or sing in foreign languages, that no one could
understand. Paul disavowed such a practice, urging them to refrain from such a demonstration, unless there be
people that can translate (1 Cor 14:27, 28). For the first purpose of the gift of tongues is to preach to non believers
and foreigners (1 Cor 14:22, Acts 2:8, 11).

But Satan also gives tongues. But the fake tongues are confused. This is the non-sense talk or blablabla. It is the sign
of Charismatism within the Roman Catholic and Pentecostalism within the Protestant. This is the movement that
will unite all the churches into the worship of the beast on Sunday under the New World Order, where there will

Confusion of tongues started at Babel. Gen 11.9. The churches of Babylon today have confusion of tongues. The
