I was born and raised in the city of Kota, Rajasthan. Focus, perseverance and patience were the
core values I learnt at an early stage of my life. My father is a mechanical engineer turned
businessman and my mother who is a housewife are both determined individuals who have
played a crucial role in shaping my life , encouraging me and my siblings to learn more , to
explore your own capability , sincerity towards work and above all in being a good human being.
Surrounded by a family of hard-working people, the seeds hard work and determination were
already sown at an early stage in my mind. Always has been a dream to become an independent
individual, goal oriented and learn till I have the opportunity.
It all started back in school days, when I found the better myself in being creative. Starting my
day with drawing and painting, exploring materials, making birthday cards, decorating ordinary
household things was kind of regular to me. Creativity was one such passion I never got tired of.
A child’s mind is the most moldable at early stages, so in my case I was trained to be creative
person. I was greatly inclined towards developing new ideas, creating crafts or maybe decorating
stuff and giving it a more appealing look. At the age of 10, I started making wall hangings and
sold 25 such hangings for Rs 5 (INR) each. With years passing, all this creativity and
experimentation with stuff gave me a mindset for the future. Growing up, my creative side
increased and the urge of exploring world art and culture grew as well, and it became a goal and
I started focusing on achieving something related to this thing. I took Arts as my subject in High
School and further, pursued four year undergraduate degree course in Bachelor of Design
(Accessory Design) from National Institute of Fashion Technology, which is the best institute for
pursuing fashion design studies in India. I did my graduation project (6 months internship) in
leather bags at Drish Pvt. Ltd. (Panchkula, India) and my summer internship in Bags at Toteteca
Bag works (Mumbai, India). My Degree provided me a strong foundation and had fortified me
with good communication skills, personal communication skills as well as organizational skills.
If I am asked to describe myself, I would say, that I am an adaptable and an ambitious person
with an ability to carry confidence. I believe in self-freedom to an extent which is endless and
explorations are still more to come without any limits. I urge for exploration and dream to fulfill
my passion for creativity. As a creative person I tend to appreciate every art, as artist’s work
speaks for itself. To me every perception is different and I think as a human we should
appreciate and respect artists. My hobbies are sketching (most of the times), listening to music,
and participation in activities whenever possible, learning about art and design history and
learning new things. I love to travel and explore different cultures and their traditions.
Everyone in their lives has a tough time deciding the right career path for themselves, but I have
always been told to be goal oriented and do what you love, give your whole mind and heart in
your passion; as the Great artist Vincent Van Gogh also said “ What is done in love is done well .“
My parents were major backbone in encouraging and motivating me in deciding what I wanted
for myself and making a career out of it. Armed with this bit of philosophy, I have been able to
identify what I like and what I want for myself. I seek to pursue a career in Master Degree which
would provide me with additional knowledge base and network that would help me to
accomplish my dreams.
I knew that I was built to turn my passion into profession. After graduating, I wanted to go for
masters in abroad and explore more in my field. Because of this urge I came across the
prestigious Master’s degree in Fashion Management program at Domus Academy which has
been ranked in top 10 universities for graduate business studies. This course is a combination of
fashion study and in depth knowledge of management. After thorough research about this

While enrolled in Fashion Management program, I hope to gain knowledge in exploring
analytical tools and theories, analyze how luxury brands balance accessibility and exclusiveness,
and develop my own conceptual framework for defining luxury and its implications for brand
management. I will be able to develop core competencies through analysis and effective
communication. I will be able to engage myself in exploration of consumer behavior and user
experience. My ultimate goal after graduating is to become brand manager or start my own
business. By admiring the present iconic brands which has given shape to creativity, a career in
Fashion Management will be rewarding.
I truly believe that at Domus, I can reach my goal, my dream. The city of Milan being a more
positive factor will benefit as it has a History of Art and Fashion, also it’s the Capital of Fashion. I
would learn new concepts and perceptions that would be beneficial in the long run and would
help me become a better person.
I look forward to learn and mark myself on next phase leading me to more academic
achievements.
