Executive Summary

The Silver Lining is an app software designed to combat mental health issues and

concerns. The content would be designed by leading psychologists and therapists with regular

updates. This allows the user access to the most

prevalent and up to date data possible.

Users would download the app,

which is available to any smart device for

free. Immediately upon opening the

application, the user would be presented

Every individual deserves serenity with a simple survey. The survey would first

diagnose the immediate issues that the individual deals with. Later it helps discover the severity

of that condition.

With the personal diagnoses the user would be presented with different management

and recovery options based in a step by step process. Access to professional help based on

region would be offered in addition for in person treatment plans.

The app would have different

versions to cater to all age groups such as

young children, teenagers, young adults,

middle aged individuals and senior

citizens.

The amount of mental health issues has been on the rise. It is leaking in to younger and

younger age groups as the pressure for social perfection increases. The Silver Lining staff have a

deep rooted desire to help others due to a sincere love of people. We have chosen this

solution due to the tech savvy behavior of individuals in the 21th century.

Being presented with real world cases that we have seen ignored by older generations

has fueled our concern. The World Health Organization (WHO) recently did a study and found

that globally fewer than 50% of people with depression ever receive help. Not only the youth

but many adults are struggling as well. National Alliance on Mental Illness said that 1 in 5 adults

struggle with depression any given year.

Silver Lining provides an interactive server with individualized care. There is also a

physical booklet printed of the Silver Lining program. The focus is on the app, with minor

advertisements the goal is to be a non-profit supported through grants. The difference to other

current programs is the personable platform that is so personalized to fit the needs of every

individual. The app is free to download on every server to provide maximum access.

investors are key partners and important because this app’s goal is not to make money, angel

investors do not require being paid back in large sums.

Software designers are a necessity to keep the software running smoothly. The research

team as well as group of mental health professionals are irreplaceable. All of these teams working

coherently make the company run efficiently.

Consumers included from every race, diversity, gender, age, or religious background are the

focus. We will be able to be reached through our own

diverse staff and multiple offices around the world by most

people. We all have a hard time every once in a while and a

while, and sometimes we need a little help to bounce back

stronger, we want to be a resource for people in their hard

time.

The Silver Lining app will be downloaded by consumers on

Another thing that we provide is paper manuals and programs. People learn in many

different ways and this can be something to

help those who learn better with physical

paper. These programs would help us reach

the part of our communities that don’t have

phones.

the search bar. The replacement market would be written works for small world countries.
Company Limitations

Our company has two limitations, they are: making the app accessible for people who speak

different languages, and updating the app as

the constant medical advances come in

Our first limitation is that we want to offer

the app in different languages, pioneering

 We will be able to update statistics and curriculum for

more current information every one to two years.

 We will be titled “The best software available to combat

and treat mental illness” in 10 years after official launch.

Company Strengths

Our support and funding in the start-up. Mental health is a problem especially in Utah and the

world. Many people are trying to help and reverse the severity. We have many researchers and

mentors willing to dedicate themselves to our cause.

 We will make money using ads featured on social media and in health office in

addition to 10 referrals a month to local therapists. We become self-sufficient as a

result with a free app in two years.

 Silver Lining will find a long term sponsor to maintain our growth by going to

networking events within 24 months.

Result of the app: happier people. When individuals are able to distress and find care individual

to them it allows for a greater level of success. That fulfillment of success can pave a pathway to

happiness as the users accomplish tasks.

 We will create a social media platform that showcases recipients of our care and

their experience after the first 50 people complete the Silver Lining course with in

the first 5 years.

 A rewards and medals of achievement will be incorporated in the system by our

programmers. It will

continue with their

recovery in the first year of

operations.

Attorney General to help our app be better known by Utah residents, and later the world.

We are going to keep getting feedback to improve the app. Our main focus is to help others.

The app will evolve based on what the vast

limited to only that.
