Explanation of:
Amplitude: is half of the oscillation distance in millimeter ( mm ) that the compaction tool
( plate or drum ) moves during one rotation of the exciter shaft.
Frequency: is the number of revolutions the exciter shaft performs per second ( Hz ) or
per minute ( 1/min. )
Hz > Excample: 50 Hz = 50 rev./sec.
1/min. > = 50 x 60 = 3000 rpm
