JOHN TORY MAYOR Gee ee Menstrual Hygiene Day May 28, 2019 WHEREAS Menstrual Hygiene Day (MH) raises awareness of the challenges menstruators face due to menstruation and highlights the importance of menstrual hygiene and solutions to these challenges. MH Day is a growing global movement that has garnered support at the local, regional, national and local levels. This support is helping to break the silence and build awareness about the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene management plays in the lives of menstruators. The City of Toronto supports organizations and individuals committed to raising awareness about diseases, conditions and illnesses that affect all Canadians. Through education, fundraising and support, the health and well-being of our communities are improved.
