1. From the above menu path open the Create Master inspection char. window as shown below &
fill the below details in the below screen.

Valid from (O) 28.12.2018 Choose the date.

2. Press the Enter key to continue to the next screen. & fill the respective fields to create MIC.

3. Press enter key & it will show a pop up window as below (or) You click on this icon

4. Select the Check box “Lower Specif.limit” & “Upper Specif.limit” in Type.

5. Select the Check box “Sampling Procedure” in sample as in the below screen.

6. Select the Check box “Summarized Recording” in Results confirmation.

7. Press enter key (or) Click on continue icon to process next pop up window.

8. Select the checkbox “Fixed scope” in Inspection scope.

9. Select the check box “Record measured vals” in miscellaneous.

10. Press enter key twice / Click on continue icon twice to process next pop up window.

11. Fill the below details in the respective fields.

12. Press enter key (or) click on continue to process further. It will get back to initial first screen.

13. Click on icon to change the value of MIC if needed.

14. Click on icon to Create Master Inspection Char.

3. CREATE SAMPLING PROCEDURE:

1. From the above menu path open the Create Sampling procedure window as shown below & fill
the below details in the below screen.

3. Press Enter key to process on next screen & Click on icon to fill the details as below in
the pop up window.

4. Enter the sample value required & Click on continue icon.

5. Click on icon to create the sampling procedure.

4. CREATE GENERAL TASK LIST:

16. Press the Enter key to continue to the next screen.

4.1. Assign Operation:


18. Click on Operation overview button or use the menu path – “Goto  Operation
overview” to continue to the next screen to assign the list of operation to be performed.
19. Enter the relevant data in “Create General Task List: Internal Processing Operation” screen.

20. As like the above sample data, you can enter no.of operation as in the below screen.

4.2. Assign Inspection Characteristics:

21. Select the operation line item & click on icon, to assign the inspection
characteristics.

22. Fill the below details in the respective fields.

23. Same as assign the master inspection char. & sampling procedure for the next operation.

24. Select the line item & Click on icon to view the upper & lower limits
value which is assigned to that MIC.

25. As same as click on icon to view the scope & type of MIC.

4.3. Assign Test Equipment’s (PRT):


Test Equipment can be assigned in the task list for the calibration process.

26. Select the line item & click on icon to assign the test equipment for the respective
operation as below.

27. It will navigate to next screen with pop up window as below. Click on Equipment to change the
field from “Material”.

28. Then place the cursor on the “Equipment “field & click on F4 to choose the PRT Equipment from
the Equipment list.

29. Click on Execute icon to view the list of PRT equipment’s.

30. Double click on the equipment that you want to assign in the task list.

31. Click on continue icon to assign the PRT equipment as Test Equipment in task list as below.

32. Once the Operation, Inspection Char. & PRT Equipment has been assigned, Click on save
icon to create the “General Task List”.

5. CREATE MAINTENANCE PLAN (SINGLE CYCLE):


It defines exactly one time based or one performance based maintenance cycle, in which you can
specify only one interval at which the maintenance plan will be executed.

5.2. Assign Task List:


3. Scroll down on the same screen. You will get the below screen to assign the task list.

4. Click on Select task list icon to find the task list which had created at the beginning.

5. It will get you to the below screen & all required details will be copied from task list as in the
below.

6. Select the task list type, which you had created as in the above screen. Click on execute
icon. It will list out all task lists.

7. Double click on the task list which you want to assign to the maintenance plan.

8. You can display the task list by click on icon.

5.3. Maintenance Plan Scheduling Parameter:


9. Enter the following data in "Maintenance plan scheduling parameters" tab.

10. Click on save icon to create “Preventive maintenance plan (Single cycle).

5.4. Change Maintenance Plan:

6. SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE PLAN:

1. From the above menu path open the Schedule Maintenance Plan window as shown below.

2. Press Enter Key to schedule the plan on the next screen. Initial screen appear as below without
future plan date/call date.

3. Click on the start icon, to create a schedule with respect to the maintenance plan. It will
show a pop up window as below.

4. Confirm the “Start of cycle” date & Press enter key.

5. It will schedule the maintenance plan with respect to the given input such as Cycle/Unit, Call
Horizon, Scheduling Period, Time-Key date & etc.

6. Now the Maintenance Plan has been Scheduled. Click on save icon to save the plan.

NOTE:- Once the call date has been reached, the maintenance order will be created automatically.

6.1. Display Maintenance Order:


7. Once the maintenance order created, you can view in the schedule screen as below.

8. Select the line item, Click on Display call object icon to display the created maintenance
order.

7. CHANGE MAINTENANCE ORDER:

3. You will get list of multiple orders if available. Dobule click the required order to change.

NOTE: - Inspection lot will be created for the maintenance order.

4. Click on inspection lot icon, it will navigate to below screen in display mode.

8. INSPECTION LOT:

2. List of inspection lots will be displayed which is not completed the usage decision.

8.1. Record Result:


3. Select the the appropriate Inspection lot which needs to be inspected . Select the line item

and click on Results .

4. A pop up window will appear, click on first opeation .

NOTE: Synbol indicates that MIC has assigned in task list for the 1st operation.

Symbol indicates that MIC has not assigned in task list for the 2nd operation.

5. It will navigate to next screen with a pop up window. On that click on Assigned Insp. Points

.

6. Enter Results for each MIC as in the below screen for Qualitative and Quantitative .

7. After results has been entered, click on Valuate icon to valuate the MIC whether “Accept” or
“Reject”.

 If the result values are in the limit, valuation will be accepted


 If the result values are not in the limit, valuation will be rejected.

8. And then click on close icon to close the MIC. It will be get locked.

NOTE:- After the valuation the above marked status will be changed to 3-Valuated.
After the Close the MIC, status will be changed to 5-Processing is completed.

9. Click on save icon. A pop up screen will appears to make final valuation for Inspection lot.

10. Provide the valuation by click on Valuation icon. It will navigate to


below screen.

11. Choose the respective valuation & click on continue icon . The system will return back to
the inspection lot screen with saving of current inspection lot.

8.2. Record Usage decision:

12. Select the same inspection lot and click on Usage decision button.

13. Record Usage Decision: Characteristic Overview screen appears as below.

14. Click on the drop down icon of the UD Code field. You will get the below screen.

15. Double click on code (A / A1 / R1 / R2) to select the usage decision.

16. Click on save icon to save the usage decision for the inspection lot.

Note – When usage decision is completed automatically technical completion (TECO) will be completed
for maintenance order.

PRINT INSPECTION LOT:

17. Select the the appropriate Inspection lot which needs to be printed by clicking the line item and

click on inspection report ..

18. It will navigate to the below screen. Click on execute icon.

19. It will get you to the next screen. & Choose/Enter the output device in the respective fields.

9. TIME CONFIRMATION:

1. From the above menu path open the PM Order confirmation window as shown below.

2. Press enter key to confirm the operations on the next screen. It will show you the list of operation.

3. Select all line item & double click on operation 0010 to enter next screen as below.

4. Before confirming the order, first check the below mentioned fields in the above screen.

For Operation: 0010

 Work Center
 Acutal Work
 Activity Type
 Final Confirmation & No Remain. Work Check box as 
 Work Start & Work Finish.

5. You can change actual work if any changes from the planned work. And these changes & these
values only will reflect in the costing of maintenance order.
6. Click icon in the header to confirm the second operation. Check the above mentioned fields.

7. Once you reach the last operation Click on save icon to Save the Confirmation of
maintenance order.

10. PLANNED COST VS ACTUAL COST:


 Actual Labour cost will reflect in Maint. Order after “PM order confirmation” done.

1. From the above menu path open the Change Orders window as shown below.

2. Press enter key to process further on next screen.

3. Go to  Cost tab & Click icon to view the Planned cost vs Actual
cost variation as in the below screen.

4. It will show you the variation between planned work & actual work cost.

11. TECHNICAL COMPLETION:


Once the maintenance activity had completed, technical completion should be done.

3. Click on Complete (technically) icon in the header page. It will show a pop up window as
below.

4. Click on Continue icon to complete the maintenace order.

5. You can view the status of maintenance order by using transaction code IW32-Change
maintenance order.

12. SETTLMENT OF ORDER:

12.1. Settlement of Order:

NOTE:- Settlement of Orders will be done FI-CO team.

12.2. View Settlement Cost:


Once the settlement has done by FI-Co team, those details will be available in maintenance order

1. Go to  IW32 (Change maintenance order)  Cost tab  Rep. Plan/Act.

2. You will get the below screen with settlement cost details.

13. CLOSE MAINTENANCE ORDER:

NOTE:- Closing of maintenance orderwill be done FI-CO team.

1. Once the order has closed/completed by the FI-CO team, you can view the status.

2. Go to IW32 (Change maintenance order), enter the order number& click continue.

3. You can view the detailed status by click on icon as below.
