Project Title: Attendance System using Bluetooth Technology

Project Description:

This project aims to automate the attendance system using Bluetooth

technology. In this, the attendance of the employee in a firm is automatically
marked as soon as the employee comes in the range of the Bluetooth
Dongle. This system will reduce the manual work and will prevent fake
attendances. In this, every employee will be assigned with a unique
Bluetooth id, which will be used as his/her identification.

The system can be monitored from a centralized location. There is no need

of internet and there is no need to put computer at every location there by
saving money. In this, we can easily check a person’s availability.

Innovativeness & Usefulness :

This system will reduce the paper work, will save time and fakeness in the
attendance system.
It can be used in firms and in colleges where a large number of people are
involved.
Current Status of Development :

Currently the project in the initial phase. Currently we are designing the
S.R.S and doing a research work.

Market Potential & Competitive advantage

This will reduce the paper work in a firm and also save time for of the
employees. It is much better than the existing attendance systems like face
recognition, thumb print, etc. This is made keeping in mind the today’s
technology and market needs. This system will definitely give a new look to
the community.

Anything else which one may want to add on

1. One can add a time slab in the system i.e. the system will work for a
given period of time and then after particular time it would not accept
the user identity.

2. One can link the system with a door panel, i.e. the door will open only
for the registered users.

3. One can keep a record of the attendance of the employees and inform
them or the authorities.
