QUESTION AND ANSWERS

1) What is the purpose of RF module in both the transmitter and receiver section?

RF module is the wireless communication system used to provide the communication

between transmitter and receiver section. If any alert is happening in the transmitter section like, cut
off power supply, lift failures, or any key-press problems, this information passes to the receiver
section through the RF module and thus can alert the security person through the buzzer.

2) How the DC motors helps in the working of lift?

DC motors moves the lift upwards or downwards according to the voice inputs given by the
user through the DC motor drive. It can moves in either clockwise or anticlockwise direction based
on the input.

3) Which type of algorithm is using in speech recognition system?

Mel frequency cepstrum coefficients algorithm (MFCC).

4) What is the power supply provided for the working condition of the microcontroller?

Microcontroller is provided with 5V supply for its working, it is obtained by stepping down of
230V AC to 12V DC by a rectifier. A 7805 IC voltage regulator regulates the 12V DC input to 5V.
This 5 V supply is given as the supply to the microcontroller.
