Ageless Existence

Leviathan is the principle of continuity and ageless existence. The Word of the Grand Master of
the Order of Leviathan is Remanifest. One of the professed areas of interest of the Order of
Leviathan is the quest for immortality. What do these terms mean, and how do they fit together?

Continuity is an interesting notion. It implies a controlled, Willed state of Being, not static, but a
state of motion, of Xeper, that is fluid and in accordance with the conscious Will and direction of
the Black Magician. This necessitates a continuity of consciousness. We are therefore not talking
about the pop-occult theory of reincarnation. Even if such were true, so what? I for one am not
interested in returning as some other Self, minus all memories of this life, having lost all that I
have learned and valued. I want ​this​ Self to continue. Nietzsche's teaching of the eternal return
stresses ​this same self,​ not some other.

The eternal return hints at Remanifestation. Through the process of Xeper, we can experience
Remanifestation in this life, in the course of our Initiation. We can become used to the process of
progressing along the path of Xeper, and Wilfully assessing and analysing our progress to date,
then to Remanifest the fruits of that progress, entering into the full potential of this new state of
being by an act of Will. Then the cycle recommences; Xeper continues.

Physical death should be a like event. Through an effort of Will, we endeavour to Remanifest all
that we have been after the demise of the fleshly vehicle. Through the practice and love of Life,
through our own determination to survive, we expect to be able to Remanifest the essential Self,
independent of the inertia of the natural universe, able to survive and continue apart from it by
the force of our own Wills.

What about ageless existence? I believe this concept to be a key to the whole process.
Immortality is not something that happens to us after death, it is a state of mind, a state of Being.
It is something that we can experience​ NOW.​ Ageless existence implies consciousness unbound
by the laws of the Cosmic Order, by time and space. In an early ​Runes​ article on ECI, Ipsissimus
Aquino suggested that immortality can be attained by freeing the mind to roam as it will through
time, to perceive time in many different ways (linear / cyclical / all-at-once, etc.). In other words,
we recognise time as a feature of the objective universe. The essential Self is timeless, it can, if
so Willed, live by its own laws, exist in its own frame of reference. I am sure we have all felt
moments of timelessness, we have all experienced subjective time racing past or dragging by at
different rates. This can be controlled – the Core Self is not bound by the Cosmic Inertia, it is not
bound by mundane ideas of time. This is the viewpoint of Leviathan, the absolute, complete
master over one's universe, able to rove through it at Will. This can be sought​ now.

Such is true immortality, the Remanifestation of the Self as the absolute in your own universe.
The mind is a TARDIS, capable of roving throughout the personal universe at Will. The Order of
Leviathan is also a TARDIS, a means for learning the secrets of the control console. We can
Remanifest our Selves indefinitely, so long as we Will to do so. The Self can only perish by
Willing its own dispersal. Immortality starts now.
