I. OBJECTIVE:
After 1 hour of discussion, 70% of the students are expected to:
a. differentiate imaginative writing from among other forms of writing.
(HUMSS_CW/MP11/12-Ia-b-1)

Motivation!
Students will be asked about their experiences in writing and they will be
seeing a sample of a written output for them to criticize.

A. ACTIVITY
The teacher will be giving a 10 minute writing activity to test the student’s ability on
constructing sentences with the use of their personal experiences. It will be done in a ½
sheet of paper.
Motive Questions:
*What is your most memorable experience that you’ll never forget? Why?
*How did you cope up with it?
*Have you learn something from it?

B. ANALYSIS
The teacher will ask the students about the activity and will try to check some of
the students output. Students will try to differentiate the kind of writing they have done
and on how they construct their sentences.

C. ABSTRACTION
The teacher will discuss the lesson proper regarding the different forms of writing
and relate the topic to the students output. The teacher will be using laptop and projector
in his/her discussion. Examples will be given and students will try to differentiate it.

D. APPLICATION
The teacher will raise questions regarding the different forms of writing through the
following :
*What is imaginative writing?
*What is creative writing?
*What is academic writing?
*What is technical writing?
IV. EVALUATION
In a ½ sheet of paper, the students will answer the following questions:

*What makes creative writing differ from the other forms of writing?
*What is the difference between technical/academic writing and creative/imaginative
writing?

V. ASSIGNMENT
Advance research in Sensory Experience and Imagery
