Greetings!

I am Carl John Louie G. Navalta, an alumnus of University of San Carlos in Cebu City and a chemical
engineer by profession. I am interested in applying for a part-time teacher position, which I believe that my
experiences align well with the qualifications you are seeking at St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc., in
particular my role as an online English as second Language (ESL) teacher, as a tutor, and as an engineer. I
am certain that I would make a valuable addition to your institution.

There’s nothing quite like teaching for me because personally, I find it inspiring whenever I get to impart my
knowledge and skills to students. I had the privilege during my college days to teach, which I found
challenging specifically my tutoring experiences with university students with their program courses that is
different from mine. However, I eased the teaching by way of organized thinking wherein thoughts are plainly
presented to students to avoid difficulties and further confusion.

I am anxious to tell you more about my qualifications, and why I’d like to be a part of your institution. Together
