apply for!

Project Management
Project Management is responsible for creating and executing events in order to raise
awareness and raise funds for the UNICEF mission. Members of this committee must be
passionate, committed and creative.

Head of Project Management


Lead and supervise the Project Management Committee.
- Sets​, ​adapts and ​supervises clear goals, objectives and strategies for the Project
Management committee
- Plans​ and ​moderates ​the​ ​meetings with committee members. ​
 
- Attend weekly committee and event team meetings, also bi-weekly general
meetings. 
- Takes minutes and attendance of the meetings and reports back to the board about
developments and problems
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities between members of the Awareness committee
and actively engages in the planning and execution of events.
- Responsible for the UNICEF merchandise​ for both past and upcoming events.
o Makes sure the necessary merchandises are ordered and ready to use before
the events.
- Maintains contact with relevant external parties if needed, in order to ensure the
smooth execution of USTR events​

- Keeps track of the committee's progress and helps with any issues of the committee
that might require board attention.

Requirements: Exceptional people skills; passion for both the UNICEF mission; creative
project management; leadership; organization skills.

Project Management Members


- Actively engages​ in event management
- Engage with external parties willing to collaborate with UNICEF ​needed for the
planned activities. ​
 
- Attends weekly committee and event team meetings​, also bi-weekly general
meetings.
- Attends meetings with your event team and committee members and keep the Head
of Project Management informed about all activities and developments surrounding
your event team ​

- Plan events and activities​ and ensure their success by contributing creatively.
- Work together with Fundraising and Marketing Committee members to create both
fundraising and awareness events.

Requirements: ​Enthusiasm; hands-on mentality; creativity; problem solving skills; team

Fundraising Committee and Treasurer

Fundraising Events Committee is responsible for all monetary aspects surrounding event
hosted by USTR, which includes keeping track of donations, finding creative ways for
fundraising events and collecting donations.

Head of Fundraising & Treasurer


- Sets, adapts and supervises clear goals, objectives and strategies for the Fundraising
Committee
- Plans and moderates​ weekly meeting with committee members.
- Attend weekly committee and event team meetings, also bi-weekly general meetings
- Takes minutes and attendance of the meetings and reports back to the board about
developments within the Fundraising Committee during weekly board meetings. ​
 
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities between members of Fundraising committee
and actively engages in the planning and execution of events.  
- Monitors the progress​ of the committee
- Presents​ ​monthly financial reports​ to the board
- Gets in touch with all relevant external parties if needed, in order to ensure the
smooth execution of USTR events.

Requirements​: Interpersonal and leadership skills; passion for UNICEF; proficiency in


financial administration; adept in Excel

Fundraising Committee Member


- Actively plans and organizes events​, with a focus on raising money for the
organization and its mission.
- Attends weekly committee meetings​ and bi-weekly general meetings
- Attends meetings with your event team and committee members and keep the Head
of Fundraising informed about all activities and developments surrounding your
event team
- Engages with external parties​ to increase event budgets of the USTR mission.
- Remains in contact with external parties after events, with regular updates, to make
sure they stay in our network.
- Plans events and activities​ and ensure to raise funds.
- Works together with Project Management and Marketing Committee members to
create both fundraising and awareness events.
- Ensures collection of donations.

Requirements: Great leadership & organization skills; salesmanship; passion for Unicef,
hands-on mentality; creative thinking

Marketing
The marketing committee is responsible for all the media channels and contributing to
creative undertakings to promote UNICEF STR and increase the team's reach.

Head of Marketing Committee


- Leads and supervises the Marketing Committee. This entails adapting and
supervising clear goals, objectives and strategies for the Marketing Committee
- Plans and moderates​ weekly meeting with committee members.
- Attends weekly committee and board meetings, also bi-weekly general meetings
- Takes minutes and attendance of the meetings and reports back to the board about
developments within the Marketing Committee during weekly board meetings. ​
 
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities between members of the Marketing committee
and actively engages in the planning of social media strategies. 
- Monitors the progress​ of the committee.
- Keeps close track of the social media of the organization
- Presents monthly reports​ to the board.
- Keeps a synchronised network of media platforms according to the strategy.
- Organizes​ the social media strategy plan.
- Ensures that Unicef STR is active and responsive in the social media, namely
Facebook, Instagram and its website.
- Responsible for the event's advertisement
- Assigns a member who takes pictures/makes videos of every event.
- Ensures the presence of promotional material.

Requirements​: Website maintenance; great coordination and organization skills; creative;


passion for both UNICEF and marketing; experienced with social media management and
marketing

Marketing Committee Member
- Actively helps in the planning and execution of events and the event’s
advertisement.
- Attends weekly to committee and event team meetings and bi-weekly general
meetings to track.
- Attends meetings with your event team and committee members and keep the Head
of Fundraising informed about all activities and developments surrounding your
event team
- Manages the external communication
- Tracks and analyzes most effective posts with regards to the number of likes,
comments
- Works together with Project Management and Fundraising Committee members to
create both fundraising and awareness events.

Requirements: Passion about marketing; creativity; strategy planning and organization


skills; social media management (experience with social media platforms, photoshop and
video editing is highly appreciated)
