University. You are offered admission in the two-year Post Graduate Programme in the School of
Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions for the academic batch 2019-21.

You are expected to confirm the acceptance of this offer by reverting back to this e-mail by Friday
June 7, 2019.

The last date for payment of fee is Friday June 14, 2019. Fees need to be paid for a minimum of one
semester. You are also welcome to clear fees for the first two semesters. The payment of the fees
should be made either through Demand Draft in favour of “Nalanda University”, payable at “Rajgir”,

The admission is contingent upon successful payment of the fee, including residence and meal
charges. Nalanda University is a fully residential university, and students are allotted seats at
respective halls of residence. The details on fee are available on the following webpage:

e-mail (Annexure I). Kindly indicate your preferred room type (single/double/AC/non-AC), and pay
accordingly.

The academic session will commence from Monday August 5, 2019. Students should report
at the University on August 3-4, 2019. Kindly share your arrival details in Gaya/ Patna to avail
the University pick-up service.

Certificates in original should be presented on the day of registration (August 5, 2019) for verification.
The list of documents/certificates required is mentioned in Annexure II.

Kindly note that should you perform well in a semester, and maintain a GPA 7.5 and above you will
be eligible for Tuition Fee waiver in the following semester.

1. Recent passport size photographs (8 copies)


2. Two self-attested photocopies of Passport (all the pages); original Passport need to be presented
for verification.
3. Original Mark-sheet of 10th Class or equivalent, showing your date of birth along with two self-
attested photocopies of each.
4. Original Mark-sheet of 12th Class or equivalent with two self-attested photocopies of each.
5. Original Bachelor’s Degree and Mark-sheet along with two self-attested photocopies of each.
6. Original Master’s Degree (if applicable) and Mark-sheet along with two self-attested photocopies
of each.
