APES 2018/2019

AN ENVIRONMENTAL PRESENTATION

This final assignment is to research into one environmental issue, or specific example of an issue, and
make an educational presentation for the APES wall. The presentation needs to address at least
some of the following:
 The issue – a description; the facts; the origins; data
 Causes
 Impact or results of what is going on
 Control or management or solutions
 Any special considerations or discussion or debate

Your work must utilise a minimum of THREE different resources, which of course must be properly
credited – ie with a bibliography. The first resource MUST be one of the media articles or posts from
the apeslcv blog (or another media article you have recently found). From there you should take the
research further.

There are no specific instructions about the extent to which you make your research, or the type of
presentation you decide to make. Your task is to find a captivating and convincing way in which to
inform your audience about an environmental issue.

The assessment will be according to the rubric on the next page.

The presentation should be pasted to the APES wall by 8:00am Monday 17th June.
