Individual Education Plan

This school year, Alex has been elected a Deputy Head boy in TBS. He seems very involved in his new duties and very proud of himself. He understands that his
new role requires greater responsibility.

General Comment
Alex’s parents maintain regular contact with Ms Pietrzyk. They are aware that Alex’s organisational skills are the main issue; however, they have observed some
progress in terms of that. They are very pleased and proud of Alex’s new role in school.

Recommendations
 Additional support focused on improving his visual processing, developing eye movement skills of tracking and midline crossing
 Additional support focused on developing Alex’s fine motor skills and handwriting (provide rubber pencil grip, handwriting exercises)
 Allow Alex to sit on a physio-ball or sensory seat
 Allow Alex to have regular movement breaks during school time in order to decrease his need for walking around the classroom and to improve his
concentration
 Alex may benefit from having extra time given to complete the task or in the exams (especially with writing tasks)
 Remind Alex about his belonging and duties
