ANIMAL MOVEMENTS

Frog Hop: Crouch down with bended knees, place hands down on the ground
between knees and jump like a frog
Crab Crawl: Sit on floor with legs outstretched in front and arm behind back.
Lift hips off the floor and walk by moving left hand followed by right foot; then
right hand followed by left foot.
Bear Walk: Place hands on ground in front, keeping bottom high in the air.
Step forward with one hand, then step forward with one foot. Next, step
forward with the other hand and then other foot.
Starfish Jump: Spread arms and legs wide and do as many jumping jacks as
possible
Snake Slither: Lie face-down on the floor and move along on stomach, pushing
forward using legs and feet
Bunny Hop: Crouch down with bended knees, place hands down on ground on
outside of knees and bounce along like a bunny
Elephant Stomp: Lift knees high and march/stomp the ground as hard as
possible
Caterpillar Crawl: Lie face-down on the floor, push forward and bring knees up
under chest; then push flat again on floor and repeat
Penguin Waddle: Stand with legs together and feet sticking slightly out to the
left/right. Hold arms down by side with hands sticking out flat. Waddle from
left to right.
Gorilla Shuffle: Sink into a low sumo squat, place hands on the floor and
shuffle around.
Cat Walk: Get down on all fours, arch back and move gently left leg/arm; then
right leg/arm
Cheetah Run: Run on the spot as fast as possible!
