Improvement Examination- July, 2019
Attention: 2013, 2014 and 2015 Batch students:

University will be conducting improvement examination for passed out students to help them in improving their CGPA. Grant of Chance
to improve CGPA is subject to the applying student, clearly understanding and appreciating the following points–

1. CGPA improvement opportunity will be given to students only once and only those students are eligible to apply, who have
completed their degree.
2. A particular student can appear in any of the five theory course examinations of his /her choice.
3. A fee of Rs. 5000 per course examination will be payable.
4. Student will be permitted to improve his/her CGPAs only within 2 years of completion of regular degree.
5. After availing the opportunity to improve CGPA,
- In case the student attains lower or same score equivalent to the existing CGPA, then there will be no change in the existing
documents (i.e. Grade cards and Degree).
6. The degree improvement examination will be conducted in the month of July, 2019 along with reappear examinations.
7. The passed out students may apply latest by 29th June, 2019. Interested students may request for the form by sending an email at the
address – reception@chitkarauniversity.edu.in, while clearly mentioning the subject column as “Request for Improvement Examination
Form”. Any emails with the subject not mentioned as indicated are likely not to be responded.
Completed examination forms along with the requisite fee can be made to reach Examination office in any of the two suggested ways.

a) By Hand: Fee to be deposited in UCO bank, Chitkara University Campus, Himachal Pradesh campus and form to be
submitted in Office of Controller of Examination.
b) By Post: Students can send their forms duly signed along with the Demand Draft (DD) for the total amount in favor of “Chitkara
University”, Payable at Chandigarh, in a sealed envelope, through registered/ speed Post only at postal address-

Other Important Instructions:

1. Please note that the last date of submission of the application form along with fee is 29th June, 2019, thereafter no
application will be accepted.
2. University will not be responsible in case of postal delays, loss of form or fees in transit.
3. Students whose fees are not paid will not be permitted to sit for the examinations.
4. No change in course code will be allowed and fees once submitted will not be refunded or adjusted.
5. Students interested in the improvement examination should refer their grade cards in order to identify the courses in which
they want to apply. These improvement examinations will be conducted from the syllabus which the student has studied
during his/her regular degree programme.
