CRACK REPAIR BY ROUTING AND SEALING

Repair method : Routing and Sealing

Repair material : Nitobond TC2000 (Fosroc)
Principle : Protection against ingress
Repair Procedure :

Surface preparation
 Using a concrete saw or right angle grinder create V-shaped groove with a minimum
surface width of 6mm and a depth of 6mm.

 Clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound or contaminated material, plaster,
oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae.
 The groove is then cleaned by airblasting or waterblasting and dried.

Mixing
 Follow the mixing procedure as per product/technical data sheet.
 Stir mechanically using a slow speed electric drill.

Application
 Apply the mixed material by troweling tightly into the substrate to ensure positive
adhesion.
 Any ridges left by the trowel will be brushed out or grinded while the material is still
wet.

 Allow the material to cure.
