**Some functions will NOT work if you save as an excel file (notibly the Aircraft Comparison tab)
Enter in the data in columns C and F and excel should shoot out
numbers below that in the blue cells, B19 through B23. If you want to
ONLY compare speed and fuel consumption and how much it will
cost based on speed and gallons per hour, fill out the red cells in
column J and K, respectively.
Performance
While the fuel burn is geared towards my 172, other parts of this
sheet can be used. Considering going to another field for fuel? Use
the top calculations to enter fuel prices and other data for the plane
(climb rate, speed) and see if it's worth going to that other airport for
cheaper fuel.
Digital NavLog
Takeoff
Distance
Not entirely accurate, but once you enter your takeoff data into the
table on the right, the caluclations should work out on the left table.
This is NOT bulletproof so doulbe check your numbers against your
POH and make sure they make sense. I do not guarantee any
accuracy in this sheet.

Intent to be used for CFI's to track their student's progress. I'm not a
CFI so this will be more set up in the coming time to figure out a
better way to present the data

Airplane
Comparison
Pretty self-explainatory. Working on getting a graph that will
automatically show graphable things like costs, TBO, etc to be a
more visual representation of comparing. Cells will auto color to
green based on certain paramaters (lowest cost, highest TBO time,
highest time before you'll need to overhaul, lowest cruise GPH,
highest cruise speed, etc)
Fuel Burn vs.
Speed
Graph derived from my average speed and what fuel I burned for
that TANK of fuel. You can see, the slower I fly, the less I burn.
OSH Packing
List
Continually modified version of what to take to Airventure. Order is
back of baggage (last needed) to front (needed first, regularly). Just
change your categories and just type yes when packed. Once all
categories say yes, the Double Check will change and go to a green
cell reading "Packed" - the category will also changed based on if
there's Double Check or Packed.
Hours by Month
I mean, it's pretty much tracking hours I fly per month, tracking total a
year and then showing it on a graph
Google
Analytics
I use Google Analytics to anonymously track number of views for my
sheet. I make $0 on this spreadsheet, just want to track views is all

Checklist
Custom checklist for my airplane. It is meant to be folded into 1/4
and used top left to bottom left, top right to bottom right, flip and to
the same. Change out what you need for your airplane. Make sure -

[25] Total of oil. I'm using/burning 1 qt about every 3.5 hrs. I get my oil in bulk of 12 qts to a case for around
$65/case, so instead of a $9 qt of oil, it's less than $6/qt
[26] Total Oil Costs for 12QTs in a pack around $63/e vs $9/qt at the FBO
[27] Hourly cost from 0 hours to 50, or 100, 150, etc hours of flying. I found which row got me the closest to

[28] Take the number below and to the right and add the overhaul cost in the "Theoretical Operation" sheet
and you'll arrive at this number
[29] Total cost of only fuel and oil spent (cell D7 and E3, respectively) divided by total hours flown (cell T3)
[30] Loan Interest + Fuel Costs + Payment Costs + MX Costs + Hangar Costs + Oil Costs
[31] Airplane insurance is cheap, less tan $600 the first year and $484 the second
[32] Hourly cost from 0 hours to 50, or 100, 150, etc hours of flying. I found which row got me the closest to
the hours I wanted to portray and have all costs spent divided by 50, or 100, or 150
**Since I dont' have a Hobbs meter, this value calculated based on engine start and stop time
[34] The above "Wet" cost split 2 ways between you and another passenger
[35] Rental plus interest minus what I've spent on flying ends up being the total "saved" instead of renting.
[36] If you look at cell X9, I have days of ownership. So, I do that number divided by 31 to give me amount
of months I've owned a plane and then the total spent is divided by however many months I've owned. This
is an "average" cost of owning. Some times I'll fly more or less and it balances out to this.

[49] If you were putting aside an overhaul fund (aka "kitty) this should be in the bank. It's total TACH hours
(cell T4) multiplied by Theoretical Operation cell B20. In my case, I should be putting away an ADDITIONAL
$50 per hour towards an overhaul assuming the input time left before overhauling the engine.
[50] Total of payments, which are $311.06. This isn't perfect since I had some issues with the loan bank
and had some additional stuff taken out but it all reduced the total loan amount in the end.
