It's not a new treatment. Cryolipolysis launched in the latter part of 2010
and thousands of treatments are being successfully performed worldwide.
Fat Freezing originated after research was done into frostbite and it was
noted that fat cells would freeze before skin freezes.
It’s Quick
The procedure can take different amounts of time depending on
how many areas you’re treating. You can usually expect to be in and
out of the clinic in just over an hour.
If you’re targeting a really specific area (under the chin, back of the
arms, etc.), you can generally be in and out in minutes!
Once the procedure is over, you should expect to see results within 3
weeks. To speed up the results, drink lots of water, exercise, and
treat yourself to a massage.
It’s Safe
While the plates aren't cold enough to freeze your skin, they are cold
enough to chill the fat cells just enough to trigger a process called
apoptosis, or cell death. In short, cryolipolysis selectively
destroys fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue.
Cryolipolysis is non-invasive, there’s no risk of infection or injury.
Temperatures used to freeze the fat aren’t low enough to do
damage to the more important cells in your body.
If you want to remove excess fat and look good, Cryolipolysis is the
procedure for you. In just one treatment, it will remove 25% to 45 %
of the fat in the treatment area.
CRYOLYPOLISIS AFTERCARE
It can take two to four months before you see the full results of your Fat
Freezing treatment. You shouldn’t have long-term discomfort for this
entire time, but you may have side effects for a few weeks after
treatment.
