2. In what manner the thermal conductivity of gasses is affected by temperature and pressure?
3. One face of a copper plate 3 cm thick is maintained at 4000C, and the other face is
maintained at 1000C. How much heat is transferred through the plate? Take thermal
conductivity for copper is 370W/m0C at 2500C.
4. Two infinite black plates at 8000C and 3000C exchange heat by radiation. Calculate the heat
transfer per unit area.
5. Drive the relationship for the heat transfer from the fin insulated at tip.
6. Discuss the concept of thermal boundary layer used in convection heat transfer.
