CAREER OBJECTIVE
My Fields of interest are namely:
1. Teaching Islamic studies for Arab & non-Arab students.
2. Teaching Arabic for native & non-native speakers.
3. Teaching English as a foreign language.
4. Simultaneous interpretation.
5. Written translation.
6. Legal Translation.
7. Giving Jomaa sermons (Friday sermons in Arabic & English)
8. Quranic Recitation according to several ways (Qira’at).
9. Supreme graduation (5 Ijazat) in Quran Recitation.
10.Supreme graduation in Hadith (i.e. 20 grand books of Hadith)
11.Supreme graduation in Islamic Aqeedah & Usulul Fiqh (e.g. Ijazah in the grand
four school of Islamic Fiqh)
From my very first academic steps I targeted my attention to excel the various skills of
English, Arabic and Islamic Education. I targeted my attention also to improve my skills
with regard to the Hardware and software totally aware of their rule as the backbone of
today’s Information revolution.
Through my working years I built my experience to prove my capabilities in this field. I
believe I have the skills and enthusiasm needed to achieve targets in teamwork under
pressure of both time and resources.

RESPONSIBILITES OF THE CURRENT POSITION


1. The Curriculum: Responsibility for:
1. Teaching Islamic A & B.
2. Departmental curriculum policies, planning, analysis and development of good quality
SOW (cooperating with other schools since 2013 and officially unifiying documents, SOW,
Assessments since Sep 2017).
3. Monitoring of the learning progress of pupils within the curriculum area, including use of
the school target setting process (when established) and other whole school and
departmental assessment policies, records and processes in order actively intervene on
matters of lower achievement or achievement.

2. Management and Administration


1. Line management, monitoring and support of staff within the Department.
2. Preparation and update of the Departmental Handbook/DIP (Departmental Improvement
Plan).
3. Ensuring effective delegation of departmental responsibilities in order to assist both efficient
departmental management and the development of members of the department
embracing mutual respect and a wide cultural understanding.
4. Management of departmental budgets for effective use of departmental resources.
5. Support the Headteacher in recruitment of staff for the Department (when possible).
6. Encourage Department staff to produce stimulating displays, using the work produced by
students when appropriate.
7. Assist other members of the Department in student disciplinary matters.

3. Staff Development and INSET


1. Planning, leading, monitoring, reviewing and identifying staff INSET and development within the
department.
2. Involvement in appraisal, including target setting and providing development feedback from
lesson observation.

Islamic Education and teacher of I.E. & Arabic for native and non-
native speakers.

Islamic Studies Teacher (Secondary) – Department Coordinator.

(Dec 2009 – June2011) - Approved by the Ministry of Education in the UAE as an Islamic
Education Teacher in English – Secondary.
