Lesson idea implementation:

This lesson is a continuation of the lesson from Basic Productivity Tools. In this lesson students will continue
to work with their collaborative groups. In the previous lesson students researched, recorded, planned, and
followed a budget to create a historical road trip across the United States. In this lesson students will use
Discovery Education’s Board Builder to create a presentation showcasing highlights from their groups road
trip.
Students will work collaboratively to design and create a Board that reflects the highlights of their road trip.
They must include at least 3 of their chosen cities, and what they planned for those cities. Students will be
given 2 class periods to work in their groups to create their presentation. Students will then share their road
trip with the class, using their board as a visual support. Students will be assessed on their teamwork, their
creativity, their design, and the inclusion of needed details.

Reflective Practice:
This lesson helps students to wrap up their engagement in this project. This helps them to review and
showcase their understandings.
