A. CONTENT STANDARD The learner demonstrates understanding of/on Farm tools and Farm Implements
B. PERFORMANCE  Correct method of calculation should be determined.
STANDARDS  Systems and units of measurement to be followed should be ascertained.
 Calculations needed to complete work task should be performed using four basic
mathematical operations.
 Appropriate operations should be used to comply with the instructions.

1. Discussion on measuring and calculating surface areas.
- Discuss the most common surface areas.
- Explain how to get the surface area of a triangle, squares and rectangles, Rhombuses
and parallelograms, trapeziums and circle. Perform some examples of how to get the
surface areas.
- Give activity for computation of surface areas.

2. Application
Calculate the surface areas of the triangles nos. 3,4,5, and 6.
* present chart containing the problem to be solved.

Guide:
- What are the most common surface areas?
-How can we compute for the surface area of a triangle? square and rectangle?
