B. PERFORMANCE Correct method of calculation should be determined.
STANDARDS Systems and units of measurement to be followed should be ascertained.
Calculations needed to complete work task should be performed using four basic
mathematical operations.
Appropriate operations should be used to comply with the instructions.

1. Discussion on measuring and calculating surface areas.
- Discuss the most common surface areas.
- Explain how to get the surface area of a triangle, squares and rectangles, Rhombuses
and parallelograms, trapeziums and circle. Perform some examples of how to get the
surface areas.
- Give activity for computation of surface areas.
2. Application
Calculate the surface areas of the triangles nos. 3,4,5, and 6.
