Move it- annual dance convention- see screenshot below. A day of classes,
workshops, seminars etc.

Alternatively I could spend the day in London taking dance classes at Pineapple r
Danceworks, trying new styles. Below are some screenshots of the Pineapple and
Danceworks websites.
I also found a studio closer to me that does open technique workshops- this could
really help me develop my lines, posture and turns (which are all problem areas for
me).
PUBLISHING, SCREENWRITING, JOURNALISM, MEDIA ETC.

WORK EXPERIENCE E-MAIL TEMPLATE

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a sixth form student studying at The Rochester Grammar School. I would like to
enquire about a potential work experience placement.
I am keen on gaining some practical experience in publishing, because I think it’s
something I might like to pursue in the future.
In my spare time, I like to dance and write (poems mostly, but hopefully one day a
novel).
As an enthusiastic student with a keen interest in books, I would be very grateful to
be considered for an opportunity at Bonnier Books UK. If no work experience is
available, would you please be able to give me some more information on what a
career in publishing could involve/ skills that I need to develop to increase my
chances of getting a job later on?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Umi Mononga

Dear sir/madam (if you have a name use it)

I am currently a Year 12 student at Rochester Grammar School where I am studying
for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Beyond school I aim to study
veterinary medicine at university. In order to enhance my university application I am
gaining as much experience of working with animals as possible. I have considerable
experience of caring for small domestic animals and have arranged to help a local
farmer during the next lambing season. To complement this it would be extremely
beneficial if I could gain some general experience within a veterinary clinic where I
can come into contact with a wider range of animals and observe how different
conditions are treated.
I would be really grateful if you would consider allowing me to shadow a vet in your
practice. My school will permit me to undertake this work shadowing from 1st – 5th
July 2019 but I am also able to visit you during the school holidays should this be
more convenient.
Thank you for your time in reading this letter. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully/sincerely (use the right one – faithfully for sir/madam, sincerely if
you have used a name)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a sixth form student studying English, Philosophy, and Sociology at The

Rochester Grammar School. I would like to enquire about a potential work
experience placement.

I am keen on finding out more about how agencies work, because I'm in love with
good books and would like to increase my chances of getting a job in something
book-related.

In my spare time, I like to dance, read and write (poems and essays mostly, but
hopefully one day a novel).

I would be very grateful to be considered for an opportunity. My school would allow

me to undertake this work shadowing from 1st – 5th July 2019 but I am also able to
visit you during the school holidays should this be more convenient. If no work
